Soap & Glory Lid Stuff Eyeshadow Palette in What's Nude

Matte eyeshadows are so hit and miss, especially if on a budget. One of the best neutral, matte formulated palettes I have ever tested has to be Soap & Glory Lid Stuff Eyeshadow Palette in What's Nude. For just £10 you will find this neigh impossible to beat!

The Soap & Glory Lid Stuff Eyeshadow Palette's in general remind me of the MAC ready made eyeshadow quads only I would go as far as saying the eyeshadows are a smidgen better in terms of quality but more on that later. The packaging is fairly expected and basic: small, plastic but not at all unpleasant. Yes it has a long way to go before it could be deemed high end but what it lacks in aesthetics the formula more than compensates. On the plus side the plastic casing is really durable and can more than survive a knock or two without the powder eyeshadows shattering which is all I ever ask for.

Inside the Soap & Glory Lid Stuff Eyeshadow Palette in What's Nude we have four well sized eyeshadows: three of which are matte completed with one metallic hue, easily allowing the user to create both subtle day looks and more intense evening ready combinations. The four shades within Soap & Glory What's Nude are as follows: Vanilla - a soft, off white, a great matte highlight option. Pink T - a warm, toned light nude matte eyeshadow, Mudhoney - neutral, mid-toned, almost chocolate brown matte eyeshadow and lastly Aubersheen - a shimmery brown toned mauve that is fairly cool in tone.

If Soap & Glory Lid Stuff Eyeshadow Palette in What's Nude was put in MAC packaging (or any other high end brand for that matter) you wouldn't question it. The quality is that good. Each eyeshadow is beautifully formulated - buttery soft, easy to blend with great colour pay off which is easier said than down where matte eyeshadow is concerned. The three matte shades are not at all chalky and beyond finely milled - I would happily pay £10 a shade for this quality level never mind £10 for the entire palette. I appreciate that the shimmer shade (Aubersheen) has been added for variety but would have much preferred a deep matte eyeshadow as it doesn't share the same level of colour saturation. As you can most likely imagine with a primer the matte shades of Soap & Glory Lid Stuff Eyeshadow Palette in What's Nude stay in place for a solid 10 or so hours before fading and/or creasing on my oily eyelids, Aubersheen (shimmer shade) was closer to the 8 hour mark which is what the brand claim so it does not under preform.

Easily the best neutral quad that £10 can buy and I truly mean that.
