I have been affectionately calling Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara a "silent staple". It is one of those few products that once you purchase it will slip its way into your daily routine with ease, for me applying it is as natural as brushing my teeth in the morning. The problem is that it has nestled its way into my beauty bag so comfortably that I forever forget to recommend it to others, hence the term "silent staple"!
As you can see the brush that has been supplied with the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara is beyond tiny, it is less than 1/4 the size of a regular mascara brush head. This makes it perfect for applying to both the bottom lashes and those pesky inner corner eyelashes. I have mentioned before that I have I bizarre shaped eyes. They are normal in size (I guess) but are both hooded and almond shaped with long, straight eyelashes which makes mascara a messy affair, particularly where my bottom eyelashes are concerned. The tiny brush head of the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara has really been a blessing, I can quickly coat my bottom lashes without any mess or fuss - the natural fibre brush grips even the tiniest of eyelashes coating them evenly with no smudges or mess. I really can not recommend it enough.
Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara comes in two shades: Black and Black/Brown, I have Black which reminds me a lot of Clinique High Impact Mascara. In essence this is a non-irritating, true black mascara which in my opinion does give the illusion of both added volume and length without clumping, flaking, smudging or smearing throughout the day even on my oily skin. Yes the 2ml tube is rather dinky but as the majority of us will only use it on our lower lashes 2ml of product is more than enough. In my opinion you will not replace this any more frequently than you would your regular mascara.

That sounds amazing, some mascara wands make it really hard to apply to the bottom lashes, this sounds perfect. Thank you for recommending it!

I can see how this would be useful for certain eye shapes, especially if you're using a fat wand like Benefit's badGAL for the top lashes. Plus that dinky bottle and brush is adorable.

This sounds good, I like the look of mascara on my bottom lashes but always find it difficult to get the balance right - don't want spider eyes.

I don't usually like wearing mascara on my bottom lashes, but the tiny wand on this looks like it would apply well and not look too much (:

Been meaning to try this for ages - most mascaras smudge all around my eyes if I use them on the bottom lash. Hmm!

I have black/brown, and I love the brush, but the formula is a bit dry and flakes on me. Kinda sad! Maybe I will save the brush though.
ReplyDeleteEek, I always see this and consider how much I would love it! I always suffer with the little smudges that I get with a normal-sized wand, this would really make my makeup routine a bit easier :)

I love mascara on the bottom lashes but I always smudge it and it really bothers me! But this sounds incredible and like it would fix that problem.

I never wear mascara on my bottom lashes - I don't know why but I just think I look so strange because my eyelashes go so long! However, this product does look really good and lots of people rave about it. xo
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to pick this up for awhile but now I definitely need to get it, sounds amazing! xx
