My whole childhood was spent in the back garden with my posse practising our Spice Girls routines. I wish I was kidding but I am not. Many a bust up erupted over who was what Spice Girl and who was two steps behind. Wild, I know. The older I became the more I realised just how much of a style icon Victoria Beckham was - I mean who didn't have a Pob? Exactly. Fast forward a few years and Mrs Beckham's designs aren't just on the runways but on the backs of many an A list celebrity. To correlate with her Spring 2015 collection she has teamed up with Nails Inc to launch two limited edition nail lacquers which have been inspired by the Japanese elements of the upcoming Spring launches by VB.
There are two shades: Juno Red and Bamboo White both of which come in the most beautiful packaging. Nails Inc Juno Red is a bright, slightly orange tinged red that is both classic and bright. I adore shades of this nature as they look striking on just about every complexion and as odd as this may sound looks great on the toes. I would deem Nails Inc Juno Red to be a jelly like polish as it has a slight transparency to it, to eradicate this I recommend layering over a white polish. This will also increase the overall brightness of the shade - win/win. My personal favourite from the duo has to be Nails Inc Bamboo White - a creamy, light pink tinged beige that is opaque in one coat and gives an effortless chic look. There is not a person out there nor occasion this polish won't suit and for that reason alone you need it.
Both of the polishes have a gel like formulation - a thick, easy to apply texture that dries fairly quickly. Once dry they have a highly glossy finish. The brush is small, stubby and fan shaped so it coats the nail in one quick step. You really couldn't ask for more.
In a nutshell? Great shades, brilliant formulations and beautiful packaging. A collection you won't want to miss out on. I hope this is just the beginning and more shades will be launched over the year.
You can find the Victoria Beckham for Nails Inc 2015 Polishes via Selfridges for £25 each or £45 for the duo - link.

The VB brand is so clever, anything she puts her name to people generally buy and this is no exception. At a hefty £25 per piece, I personally won't be buying it but can see them being very popular!

Love the packaging, but the colours are a bit meh. And the price tag is ridiculous. I already annoyed at Nails Inc for bumping up their prices to cover the cost of the new packaging etc. And as nice as this polish collection is, I simply cannot justify spending £25 on one bottle! Nope. Not impressed at all.
