Nuxe 24Hr Soothing and Rehydrating Fresh Mask has the texture of a light, moisturising cream and quickly sinks into the skin. Essentially you apply this as you would any face cream but as it is a mask you are encouraged to tissue off any excess after 10-15 minutes. As many will know I have oily and occasionally dehydrated skin and I can honestly say there is never any excess product. At the moment I have been using this as a night cream as my home is pretty cold and the heating has been on continuously since early October. Believe it or not I blame the heat for my suddenly dry skin. This is one of the few hydrating masks in which I feel works instantly, it soothes and moisturises without clogging the pores or being uncomfortably rich. Speaking of the skin being uncomfortable this mask quickly eradicates any tightness and roughness.I typically use this in place of a night cream 2-3 times a week and my skin has never been softer.
The light texture is suitable for the entire face, including the eye area which is pretty rare for a face mask and this is due to Nuxe combining an emollient base with nourishing oils, plant milks and 24 hour moisturising. This combination helps to soothe redness, tingling and burning that is often associated with sensitive skin which is why many dub this mask to be an SOS treatment. I have to agree there is no lighter yet nourishing and gentler way to treat dry and dehydrated skin. Add it to your Winter skin care routine you will not regret it.
