It's the run up to Christmas and I have no problem admitting that I do like to treat myself. I probably treat myself to pretty things rather too often but hey life is short and erm I like make-up. I was recently gifted a Feel Unique gift voucher and decided to purchase some items that had been nestling on my wish list a little longer than I ever intended. Here is what I picked...
DOLCE & GABBANA Dolce Eau De Parfum 50ml/£59.00
This is the scent that I forever mean to purchase but some way along the line get sidetracked by other fragrances. It is a light and bright floral that leans slightly fruity. I will save listing all the notes etc until I type up my full review but if you are a fan of the limited edition Marc Jacobs Daisy scents that are launched each Spring this is one I highly recommend checking out. I do wish it was a little longer wearing but other than that no complaints.
I am an eye cream obsessive, I have more than I'll ever need but have yet to stumble across the perfect morning eye care solution. I have high hopes that this will deliver as it promises to soothe, refresh and de-puff tired eyes. I have tried this twice so far and can say that I am enjoying it, it is light yet nourishing and really does cool and calm the area. I shall keep you posted in the coming weeks.
I adore the Urban Decay Revolution lipstick line; buttery soft lipsticks that are well pigmented and beyond comfortable to wear. Yes I am a little predictable in my lipstick shade choices but tell me who does nudes/neutrals better than Urban Decay? Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Naked is a mid toned nude that leans slightly pink, a great everyday shade but one I fear could look a little stark when I am tanned. At the moment it is all I have been reaching for.
Another product that I have promised myself I would purchase on several occasions and never did. I have funny shaped eyes, they are normal in size I guess but both hooded and almond shaped with long, straight eyelashes which makes mascara a messy affair, particularly where my bottom eyelashes are concerned. I am hoping the super tiny wand of the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara will be the answer to my problems. Fingers crossed!
This was an impulse decision, I like Urban Decay and I have a weakness for nude eyeliners. This dual ended eyeliner contains both a nude and almost black liner option and has been created to compliment both of the Naked Basics Palettes. Gimmicky yes but it is nice to have a travel friendly suit all and do all eyeliner.
Do you agree with my choices or is there anything in my somewhat haul you would have skipped?
I love that perfume! One of my favourites :)

The UD double pencil is actually on my wishlist and the UD lipsticks also looks very nice.
ReplyDeleteI've got the double ended eye pencil meant for the naked 3 , and I find it really useful actually. I'm not a massive black wearer so it's nice to have a little pencil and the purple on the other side is a more natural tone I go for. Much more suitable for me!

I really like UD lipsticks and I have been meaning to pick up Naked for some time now, but it always seems to be sold out. As for the Clinique bottom lash mascara, I have not repurchased that for some time now, I forget to do so, but it is a good mascara. x
