Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Eau de Parfum

As mentioned yesterday this is the scent that I forever mean to purchase but some way along the line get sidetracked by other fragrances, mainly Tom Ford scents if I am entirely honest. Yes it is now Winter but not all of us enjoy heavy scents, some of us still cling to light, floral compositions in the hope that the rainy, cold weather will subside sooner rather than later, or perhaps you simply want an easy to wear every day fragrance? Either way Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Eau de Parfum is one I recommend checking out.

Straight off the bat I want to say that Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Eau de Parfum is not at all long wearing on my skin, if I want any sort of prolonged wear time I have to mist this on my clothing rather than my skin. This is not at all typical for me as perfume tends to wear exceptionally well on my skin, I don't know if Dolce is the exception to the rule but I thought I should mention it none the less. Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Eau de Parfum is a white floral blend with notes of Neroli Leaf, Papaya Flower, White Amaryllis, Narcissus and White Water Lily.Although no fruit notes are listed in my opinion this almost leans towards being a fruity floral. It is bright, youthful yet clean and somewhat reminds me of Marc Jacobs Daisy scents that are launched each Spring.

Interestingly enough the perfume was based on an "emotional and sensual journey through Sicily". To me it screams hot weather coupled by the sea but then again I have a vivid imagination ha! Regardless of what the scent reminds me of I do recommend checking this out next time you are at a fragrance counter. In a nutshell a modern day classic in the making!
