Kellogg's Cereal Lip Balms

We all have that one friend who laughs at their own jokes. Well in most if not all of my friendships that person happens to me. I may have made the crying with laughter emoji face at my latest blog title and not one second of shame was had. If cereal happens to be one of your main food groups (I'm not even kidding) then this trio of lip balms from MAD Beauty!

Kellogg's Cereal Lip Balms

Now let's be entirely honest with ourselves, if purchasing the MAD Beauty Kellogg's Lip Balms you have been lured in by the novelty factor and don't for one moment assume that they will be on par with a healing lip balm? Good, we are on the same page. Which is just as well as really the MAD Beauty Kellogg's lip balms won't heal or soothe chapped lips and at best just deliver a quick dose of moisture. The main ingredients are petroleum, paraffin and coconut oil so the balms do hydrate and create a somewhat barrier against the elements but medicated they are not nor do they claim to be.

Back to the packaging...I mean how can you resist miniature cereal box shaped anything? I know I can't. Fun fact Rice Krispies are my favourite cereal, the other two variations just sort of fell into my online basket - the less said the better! Each MAD Beauty Kellogg's Lip Balms has been scented with the cult cereals in mind - Coco Pops is of course chocolate scented and reminds me of cocoa butter. Frosties? Supposedly Frosted in scent but more akin with marshmallows and lastly we have my personal favourite Rice Krispies which has a banana scent. Again I somewhat disagree and find it reminds me more of Rice Krispie Squares - sweet, sugary and once more marshmallow like.
