Yankee Ghostly Treats Candle Review

Yankee Ghostly Treats Candle

Halloween is coming and in my opinion we all deserve a cute candle or two to mark the occasion. Okay maybe not but I think a good few will find Yankee Ghostly Treats too tempting to skip.

If like myself your favourite Yankee Candle fragrance is Fireside Treats then stop what you are doing and order yourself a Yankee Ghostly Treats candle or wax tart now! Yes our favourite light, toasted marshmallow based scent has been repackaged (and renamed) rather beautifully for the season of trick or treating! Easily my favourite Yankee offering ever and the one scent I can burn happily all year long.

Initially I was a little worried that Yankee Ghostly or should I say Fireside Treats would be sickly sweet. My main worry is that the fragrance would be based on the marshmallow accent but it is honestly one of the most realistic smoky fire scents I have ever encountered. Imagine the smoky yet comforting scent of a proper outdoor scent coupled with a sweet kick that is Marshmallow. I've never properly made smores (that is what you call fire roasted marshmallows isn't it?) but I imagine that Yankee Fireside Treats is a dead ringer for the authentic fragrance such event would create. It is light, beautiful and due to the super cute packaging a little too hard to resist.

  1. I think s'mores are melted marshmallow with chocolate and a biscuit (like a digestive type biscuit). Love the sound of Fireside Treats though, bonfires are my fave smell!

    1. S'mores are 2 graham crackers with toasted marshmallows and a slab of a milk chocolate candy bar like Hersheys sandwiched between them

  14. Ohhh this sounds so nice. I recently purchased a Yankee candle with Halloween packaging (I can't remember the name of the scent) and it smells nothing reminiscent of Halloween or Fall, even. This probably would have been a better option!

  22. I gave this candle a sniff last weekend and it is seriously delicious!

I nearly bought it but when I saw that Fireside Treats was on offer at 25% off I decided that it worked out cheaper to buy a large jar of Fireside Treats for £14.99 instead of £16.99.

When I was sniffing both the jars I found that Ghostly Treats was stronger than Fireside Treats, which is neither a bad nor good thing.

Either way I still want to get Ghostly Treats, I mean LOOK AT THE PACKAGING! Cute or what! :D

  25. This scent actually isn't a repackage of Fireside Treats. Ghostly Treats has a minty note that Fireside Treats doesn't have.
