Oh it is a jam packed month in terms of favourites, here is what I have been enjoying lately...
It has taken a little while but slowly I have became hooked on using my MAC MSF Natural (I use the shade Medium Plus) to keep shine at bay throughout the day. I tend to set my face in the morning using a loose powder and keep this stashed in my bag to keep my t-zone fairly matte. What I like about this is that I can apply several times a day if needed and it never becomes heavy or cakey on my face. I would like it to generally offer a little more oil control but other than that I am a convert!
My go to highlighter has been No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter which is essentially a chubby shimmery crayon. It is so easy to apply and allows precision which you don't always get with powder products. The oyster shell pink hue is surprisingly flattering and doesn't gather into my enlarged pores. Next time you happen to pop into Boots I highly recommend giving it a whirl!
Benefit Coralista Blush has been worn this month more times than I care to count, since recently going really blonde a lot of blushes don't at all suit my skin tone but this surprisingly looks great (tooting my own horn and all). The pinky coral shade has a certain illuminating quality so it really brightens my face as well as given a pinch of colour. Benefit Dallas is my favourite blush by the brand but this is easily a close second!
Lips, lips, lips! I really do like lipstick and this month I have rediscovered lighter nudes - out with the slightly favoured deeper 90's vibe neutral lipsticks and in with more pink tones. I have been rather enamoured by Maybelline's Color Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencil in Nude Perfection which is an almost matte light golden nude that is not worlds apart from MAC Velvet Teddy. A word of warning though, not all Maybelline's Color Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencils are created equally - some are much more drying than others. I recommend having a good swatch in store before purchasing! On top of that I have been pretty partial to a quick dab of L'Oreal Nude Ballet gloss just to add a little moisture and to make the shade more suited to my skin tone. My go to lipstick of late has been Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lip Colour in Pink Blush. This is more of a pink than nude but as it is so light in tone it does have an almost nude quality without washing my complexion out. All in all a great everyday lipstick especially if you are blonde!
I doubt anyone will be surprised to see that I have included YSL Black Opium EDP - I am utterly obsessed! I can't quite put across in words just how beautiful this is but it really is a perfect Autumn fragrance - warm yet slightly sweet. You must try it out. My other body essentials lately include Lush The Olive Branch Shower Gel, it smells amazing, slightly masculine yet comforting. I like that it contains olive oil so that my currently dry skin not only is cleansed but also moisturised to some extent. Speaking of moisturiser my hands have been loving Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Hand Cream - thick, luxurious and it hydrates like nothing else I have owned in the past.
What have you been enjoying lately?

Nearly bought the Maybelline nude lip pencil today. I swatched it in store and found it very creamy. There's a 3 for 2 promo in Boots, so I'll go back and check more shades tomorrow. x
