Fun fact - the thought and smell of scooping out pumpkins gives me the fear each year. I adore Halloween (perhaps more than a woman in her twenties should) but if one thing can make me gag it is raw pumpkin. Oddly I do enjoy pumpkin scented products (not Pumpkin Spiced Lattes, I'd rather eat my calories thanks) and look forward to Autumn each year for that very reason. In my opinion Bath and Body Works do the best "Fall" scented body products (their candles aren't half bad either) but since the UK is BBW free I have found the next best thing - Philosophy Pumpkin Icing Shampoo, Shower Gel and Bubble Bath.
As you can imagine Philosophy Pumpkin Icing Shampoo, Shower Gel and Bubble Bath is a combination of sugary sweet notes such as vanilla and brown sugar combined with pumpkin and cinnamon. The best way to describe the over all scent is how I and I am guessing most will imagine a Pumpkin cupcake to not only taste but smell. It has an overall baked scent (again like a cupcake) but has a certain warmth and kick due to the pumpkin and general spice notes. It is a dead ringer for BBW Pumpkin Cupcake Candle which of course you can not cleanse with but for some this may be just what you are looking for. Yes I am still jet lagged and not making 100% sense but hey what is new.
In all honesty I don't think bathing products are as multi-purpose as they claim. Now don't get me wrong when in a jam I am sure Philosophy Pumpkin Icing Shampoo, Shower Gel and Bubble Bath will more than suffice as shampoo but for regular use? Nah. Again it is an okay bubble bath but not really on par in terms of bubble production as a "real" bubble bath. Picky? A little but on the plus side it is a great shower gel. It gently cleanses the skin without drying out the skin, smells great and a little goes a long way. If you are a little or a lot sweet on Autumnal products then your bathroom is all but begging for a bottle of this.
