I'm currently going through a hair care phases in which I want to try all the new shampoo and conditioners. I say phase, really I have always been this way inclined. The only product in terms of hair care that I am truly loyal to is Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner. I feel if I stick with the same shampoo and conditioner for too long my hair becomes lank, flat and generally weighed down. You know the saying a change is as good as a holiday and that is how I view hair care. New in my shower is the Dove Oxygen Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner duo which I fully recommend if your hair is easily weighed down.
The Dove Oxygen Moisture has been created with fine, flat hair in mind - I do have thick hair that is now waist long (I have no idea how that happened but it has) but due to the over all weight of my hair it is forever flat. The Dove Oxygen Moisture mantra is that you don't have to choose between moisture or volume - perfect as the ends of my hair are approaching three years old so I'll take any moisture I can get! The general idea is that both the shampoo and conditioner have been infused with oxygen so that the hair is nourished deeply yet the formula is utterly lightweight which I do have to agree with.
Both products somewhat melt on to the hair - the shampoo lathers up beautifully leaving the hair feeling cleanses from root to tip without being drying or harsh, not to mention it smells beautiful. The conditioner is surprisingly hydrating and more than conditions my bleached and dried out locks which I was pretty shocked by. A little goes a long way, my hair was easy to de-tangle and style after washing and even more oddly my hair felt fresher for longer. The volume aspect I sadly can't vouch for but I really do feel like the weight of my hair is to blame, unless I cut off a good few inches my guess is that the problem will persist. If you have fine hair I have no doubt you will achieve more volume than I did. If you are on the look out for a great lightweight shampoo and conditioner that will deeply cleanse and nourish the hair will being weightless and free from product build up I thoroughly recommend the Dove Oxygen Moisture range.

This sounds really good, my hair always has been a little 'meh' because it so fine. This sounds right up my street.

Interesting products... I would never have thought of Dove as a hair care brand! They're one of my favourites for lightweight body moisturisers so I'll give these a go!
