A quick collective of all the things I have been enjoying for the last week or so...
I have dusted off my By Terry Hyluronic Hydra-Powder and put it firmly to use. Oddly some days my skin loves this and others I feel like it just sits on top of the surface of my skin regardless of how well I buff it in. At the moment it is all I am using to set my make-up but full well know that sooner rather than later I will have to tuck this back into my stash. As much as I am currently enjoying this powder I can't say I would repurchase in a hurry.
Benefit Dallas Blusher has been my go to blush all week - I adore that it nestles somewhere in-between a blush and bronzer and how it pretty much looks great on everyone. The dusky pink bronze of Dallas is a great Autumn shade and the overall effect is a healthy flush of colour. Try it, you'll be surprised how quickly it becomes your new favourite Benefit blush! I am also this close to purchasing the Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot blush palette and yet I own 5 out of the 6 shades within it. What the heck is wrong with me (please don't answer that)...palettes really are my weakness.
I'm not a Kardashian fan by any means but do have to give a shout out to the Kardashian Beauty Au Naturel In the Flesh Lip Kit. A pinky nude duo that is eerily similar to MAC Angel Lipstick (unsurprising as Kim K has openly said MAC Angel is her go to MAC lipstick) yet a little creamier and easier to apply. It also comes in handy to have a lip liner in the exact shade of the lipstick. My other lip staple has been Lanolips 101 Ointment in Strawberry again. I keep this in my bag and reapply several times a day. I do wish the balm wasn't so thick as it is pretty difficult to apply over or under lipstick but there is no denying that it does keep my lips smooth!
A week today I jet off to Florida so I have been busting out my Bath and Body Works Hand Sanitizers like they are going out of fashion. Why? Because I want to stock up on the Autumn fragrances when over there. That aside I do like how small and dinky the Bath and Body Works hand gels are - they also don't dry my hands out as much as other brands. Speaking of my hands, Chanel Secret Nail Colour has been on my nails all week long. This is a great neutral peach shade that gives a natural polished look and is one of the better formulas as far as Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colours go!
Lastly I can't have a favourites post without declaring my love for YSL Black Opium Eau de Parfume, this is beyond description - slightly chocolate based, warm and 100% divine. You must try this out at the counter as I have yet to meet a person who doesn't rate this scent! It was love from the first spray and I loathe the original YSL Opium Eau de Parfume.
What have you been enjoying lately?
I want to try the Black Opium so bad ^_^

ReplyDeleteI went into Boots this week and smelt Black Opium and I am simply in love! It's such a strong, beautiful scent and I think I like it more than the orginal Opium (which I already I have!)
