As you may be aware October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and many brands launch limited edition products with a proportion of the sales going directly to the charity. Clinique have been firm supporters of the cause since 1992 and this year is no different. There is two products to choose from or collect if you will...
Clinique will launch a limited edition bottle of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion + (£29.50/200ml). This features a cute keep safe keyring which is adorned with not only the Clinique symbols, the pink ribbon but also a little yellow fob which features a bottle of said moisturiser. On the side of the limited edition Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion + there is also a pink ribbon motif. Personally I adore this moisturiser and use it fairly regularly despite having oily skin - it hydrates quickly and intensely without being heavy or breaking my skin out. I do have a full review here - link but will update with a new review in the future as some of my thoughts have changed in the last year. I should also mention that the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion + for Breast Cancer Awareness is an online only launch.
There will also be a Clinique Long Last Lipstick especially designed for the cause which of course is a bright pink - Clinque Power in Pink. This will come presented in a bright pink cosmetic purse and cost £17. I don't own the lipstick but once it launches I will pop to my local counter and purchase one and update with images/swatches etc.
£2 from each purchase of either item will go directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation that is sold in the UK, both products will launch in October. The lipstick will be available online and on counter where as the moisturiser is an online only launch.
This post contains a press sample but come October I will donate generously to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation as I do with any charity related press sample.
I've always loved Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. It was my first ever grown up moisturiser so will always hold a bit of a soft spot for it! This is a great cause too, which i'm very close to. Will definitely be picking up a bottle.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great and it sounds even better knowing that it is for a good cause :) xxx

I tried this moisturizer before and unfortunately it was way too oily for my dry face. I have read so many great reviews about it but it wasn't right for me. :-(

Will definitely be picking up both of these products to support a great cause and, of course, my infatuation with Clinique!

I really wanted this moisturiser to work for me but a had a strange reaction to it - it broke me out and dried my skin out within few days :(

I had the same problem!! It seemed to work for the first few days and then my skin just became so dry and I broke out horribly, especially around my mouth x

This is a really nice idea. I really liked the samples I tried of it, but I wasn't sold enough to buy the full bottle.
