Philip Kingsley Try Me Kits

I'm a hair care floozy and other than the likes of Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner my loyalty wanes. I find it quite the challenge to hand over huge amounts of money for shampoo particularly and will more often than not purchase whatever is on sale in my local supermarket. Like I said I am a haircare tart. Conditioner and scalp treatments on the other hand I am more likely to part with the cash as they do more than remove dirt. I also like to purchase small or travel sized bottles of hair care that way I can get a feel with next to no commitment. Enter the Philip Kingsley Take Comfort Try Me Kit. A brand I have only just dabbled with in the past (mainly the Elasticizer) but forever had an intrest in.

For £5 (yes really) you get three 20ml bottles of hair care specifically created for a certain concern. At the moment I have an itchy, dry scalp so I selected the Philip Kingsley Take Comfort Try Me Kit. This contains the Philip Kingsley Flaky/Itchy Scalp Shampoo which is a gentle shampoo that thoroughly cleanses my hair and scalp without stripping it of natural oils. It instantly soothes my scalp and has more than reduced the annoying itch factor that I have recently been plagued by. I don't actually have a flaky scalp so I can't comment if it reduces flaking but it has all the other boxes ticked. The kit also contains Philip Kingsley Moisture Balancing Conditioner which has been formulated for slightly coarser than normal hair types. I will be utterly honest and say that I like it, I just don't love it and wouldn't purchase a full sized bottle. It is a decent enough conditioner - it hydrates but isn't rich enough for my needs. Lastly what would a Philip Kingsley kit be without a tube of the now cult pre-shampoo conditioning treatment that is The Elasticizer. This moisturising hair mask was first created for the one and only Audrey Hepburn. Basically this does all it says on the tin and more - it adds elasticity to the hair, shine and deeply conditions. I tend to reach for this any time I colour my hair to prevent it from becoming too dried out of frazzled. Again I like this but don't really rate it as one of my all time favourites or must have hair care products.

Some hits and some misses but I'd rather loose £5 than over £30 wouldn't you?
