Please excuse the slightly grainy iPhone photo, my camera is currently being cleaned and like a fool I forgot to snap a photo of my favourite products of the last week. Anyway less than perfect image aside here is what I have been enjoying...

Kiehl's Creme de Corps, yep this is a pricey body lotion in essence but my goodness does it quickly quench dry skin. I really like that the texture is not quite as runny as your typical body lotion nor is it as dense as a body butter. The creamy texture feels great on the skin, it is unscented and like I said before it really does make light work of re-hydrating dried out skin. You can find it here -link.

I don't normally enjoy white nail polish, it looks great on everyone else bar me and yet I have fallen a little for OPI Alpine Snow. It applies quickly, two coats and it is fully opaque and is oddly flattering on my short, chewed down nails. I don't know if a white manicure will be for me in the long run but for now I am rather enjoying it. You can find OPI Alpine Snow in Nail Lacquer via Beauty Bay - link.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in Nude-ist is all that has graced my lips the last few days, I like that it is essentially a nude shade but has plenty of brown and pink tones to prevent it from washing me out. Being a liquid and matte formula it can be a little drying but it really does wear well, I get a good four hours of strong pigment per application. You can find it here - link.

Annoyingly Chanel Le Blanc de Chanel is sold out everywhere in the UK at the moment but you can find it via Nordstorm here - link. I like to apply this under a slightly heavier foundation than normal, especially not that the weather has gotten slightly cooler. I find this not only acts as a primer but adds a light glow to my skin. It is a really difficult product to describe, if you can ever get your hands on a sample snap it up. I swear by its magic.

A new addition to my make-up bag is Urban Decay's X Eyeshadow which is a light, peachy almost coral hue that doesn't look much in the pan but really does transform into something magical on the eye lids. Urban Decay X is a slightly more rose gold and altogether more yellow toned version of Urban Decay Sin. If you have blue eyes and like a quick wash of colour rather than a complicated eye look, snap this up. You can find it here via Feel Unique (on sale) - link.

A current staple of mine is Maybelline Better Skin Concealer, a light liquid concealer that disguises both blemishes and dark circles. It reminds me a whole lot of MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, it is easy to blend out and cheap as chips. I do recommend purchasing a shade lighter than you usually would as it has a tendency to oxidise but that could be my super oily skin to blame once again! Find it here - link.

Lastly and super annoyingly I have been still wrapped up by Jo Malone's Wood Sage and Sea Salt Cologne. It is just so, so beautiful  - fresh, uplifting and so different to anything else by the brand or any other fragrance I have ever tested for that matter. I am counting down the days until this launches on the 1st of September to purchase the matching candle. You really do have to try this one out for yourself.
