The Daily Beauty Report 27.08.14

Here is what is happening in the beauty world at the moment...

Oh Ciate you clever things! Isn't this new nail house so cool, it manages to look Autumnal yet Halloween-esque at the same time. "Nailcare brand Ciaté has announced the launch of Haute House, a new nail polish collection for AW14. Drawing inspiration from luxe lingerie labels, the new paint pot range comprises five new shades: Knee highs (royal blue), Sass pot (purple), Tickle my fancy (rich emerald green), can can (burgundy) and for the frill of it (molten gold)." This will launch in September and cost £22!

I saw this image and thought yup I have to have at least one. The retro candle holders have a warm, almost festive feel yet have a 60's vibe that would work well all year round. Anyway less of my yapping and more on the finer details "Fragrance brand Acqua di Parma has announced the launch of Collezione Murano, a Murano glass candle collection, comprising three new fragrances. Each candle features hand-crafted glass and has a burning time of 30 hours. Scents comprise: Linden Trees From Gardens By The Water, created using bright and floral notes of the linden tree, enriched with honey and sandalwood; Mahogany From The Maritime Republic, comprises notes of mahogany and accents of vetiver and elemi; and The Tonka Of Venetian Spice Merchants, a fragrance diffusing notes of tonka, blended with vanilla, clove accents and ginger" Each candle will cost £90 and should launch this coming October.

I know us Brits don't have access to Bath and Body Works (which annoys me no end) but if you happen to live near to a store there is lots of new Fall/Autumn lines (mostly body products) and scents being added such as: Pear & Cashmere Woods, Plum Moscato & Almond, Pumpkin Latte & Marshmallow, Honeycrisp Apple & Buttered Rum and Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. One word yum! I hope they are still in stock when I go over this coming October.

Bobbi Brown will be launching new creamy matte lipstick shades for Autumn. At the moment I don't have any further information but I can vouch that the formulation is beautiful. I have bought a few shades over the year and they are the perfect matte lipstick for those who hate drying formulas and/or have dry lips.

If money was no object I would own every Radical Skin Care product, I kid you not I think that highly of the brand and do have an in-depth review of one of my favourite items by said brand tomorrow. Until then let's learn what is in-store for us next month. "Radical Skincare has announced the launch of EXTREME REPAIR, a new firming and moisturising product. The product is designed to reboot ageing skin cells, hydrate, firm, wrinkle correct and prevent and fade dark spots, while fighting free radicals. The moisturiser contains 18 multi-active ingredients including: Mégassane, the lipid part from micro alga to stimulate all activities within the proteasome (one of the skin's natural systems); peptides, that restructure the dermis by boosting the synethesis of essential collagen and elastin fibres; Trylacel™ technology combined with acai to provide antioxidants which fight against oxidation; and hexylresorcinol, to visibly reduce the appearance of dark spots. Other ingredients include vegetable oils, Brazilian carnauba wax and shea butter."

Lastly I have just learned that Lancome and Jason Wu will be teaming up for the brands Autumn/Fall collection. If above palette is anything to go by count me in!

Have a lovely evening everyone.
