As soon as I saw the above Rococo image I instantly thought of Halloween and the jewel tones of the Hocus Pocus Disney characters costumes. Just me? "Rococo Nail Apparel has announced the launch of of two new collections: Concrete Jungle for Autumn and Spellbound for Christmas. Concrete Jungle focuses on muted brown, cool grey, burgundy and bronze colour shades that include: COOL FOR CATS (grey with hint of violet); PROWL (rich burgundy); ARTFUL (brown nude); and NIGHTSCENE (stony bronze). Spellbound (pictured above) is inspired by fairytale witches and wizards, featuring dark and dramatic shades of green, red, blue, purple and pink in the brand's five-free formula." The launch dates are : September (Concrete Jungle), November (Spellbound) and each polish will cost £12.

One of the most exciting recent launches has to be the new foundation from Laura Mercier "Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluide Foundation and Smooth Finish Foundation Powder aim to deliver universally wearable, perfecting, smoothing, matte and oil free formulas that provide a blurring effect for a smooth complexion. Both powder and fluide formulas feature modern, ultra-light weight textures that are comfortable and flex with the skins natural movement. Containing Hydro-Brilliant Technology, reflective waters and natural silica create natural colour-true shades. Available for all skin-tones and types, there will be 24 shades available." At the moment it is exclusive to Space.NK - link but will go nationwide on the 1st of September.

Fans of Burberry Make-Up rejoice! "Burberry The Bloomsbury Girls, its new make-up collection for AW14. The collection was introduced at the Burberry Prorsum Womenswear AW14 show and is inspired by the Bloomsbury girl, with touches of elderberry and pink referencing the mood of the ready-to-wear collection. The new range includes Burberry Nail Polish in five new shades and Complete Eye Palette in Nude Blush and Slate Blue."
There is a new make-up brand coming to town - Delilah "The team behind Delilah include Rupert Kingston, Hannah Nicholson and Juliet White. Rupert spent many years in the industry as a make-up artist and Creative Director and has developed numerous award-winning cosmetics. Hannah has had a long career as a beauty buyer specialised in product development and working with some of the world’s most prestigious cosmetics manufacturers. Juliet, a photographer whose work has featured in The New York Times and Rolling Stone, brings her expertise in imagery, graphics and design to the brand. Inspired by quintessentially English influences, the capsule collection of make-up tools, face, eyes, cheeks and lip make-up products are priced from £20 and are encased in a traditional semi-precious pewter coloured metal with gold accents that run throughout the line. The collection is available to purchase online and from Richard Ward salon.

  2. I am looking forward to experimenting with some of these products. I really wish that more companies would focus on producing products that are plant derived than that have a lot of synthetic ingredients. My skin is super sensitive but I still would love to experiment with some of these products.
