I'm really low key when it comes to my hair, I treat it fairly well but don't really style it.
In fact 99.9% of the time I wash, condition, de-tangle and allow to dry naturally.
I couldn't honestly say when I last used heat on my hair as a result it is long, bleached blonde and in good condition - pat on the back if I do say so myself. I am fairly lucky that my hair is naturally wavy, almost curly (for the more hair educated than myself I am told I have a 2C pattern) so I do have that messy, loose wave beach hair thing going on naturally. My sister on the other hand has perfectly straight hair that doesn't really hold a curl (bear with me I'm getting to my point) and longs for loose waves. Enter Olivine Love + Salt Hair and Body Mist...
Yes a salt spray that not only adds texture and loose waves to the hair but can double up as a moisturising body mist too! After washing her hair my sister applies this lightly all over, combs through and pops into two top knots at the side of her head, blasts with the hair-dryer for a few minutes and leaves to dry. Once unravelled she has beautiful, perfectly formed waves that the ultimate beach babe such as Elle McPherson would be jealous of. The Love + Salt Beach Hair & Body Mist contains four types of organic salts (Epsom Salts, Pink Himalayan Salt, Organic French Sea Salt, Dendritic Salt) to lock in texture and volume without drying out the hair or body. It also contains coconut oil and aloe vera also to soothe and nourish both the skin and scalp.
Now I know what you are thinking, a sea salt spray in the last thing I'd want to spray on my skin and normally I'd agree. My experience of certain sea salt sprays are that they are sticky and altogether too gritty to apply to the body. Well Love + Salt contains fractionated coconut oil, which is utterly moisturising, light and not sticky nor greasy in the slightest. Rather on the skin it feels as light as a water spray but oddly hydrating and refreshing. The best way I can describe it is the light spray you encounter on your skin when standing close to the sea? I hope that makes sense? The scent of the Love + Salt Spray fragrance also reminds me of such encounter, light, aquatic and exhilarating. If you have your eye on the yet to launch Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt Cologne then this is the perfect body partner.
You can find the Olivine Love + Salt Spray from £8 - £14 via A Beautiful World - link.

This sounds amazing, I'd probably just use it on my hair but either way it's nice to have the option.

Ooooh, I was skeptical when you said moisturising especially since I find sea salt really drying on the hair but now it makes sense :) It's cool how this doubles up though :)
