Every now and then my skin goes a little crazy and I like to know that I have something to hand ready to calm, soothe and I guess eradicate the problem to some degree. Okay Lush BB Seaweed Fresh Face Mask won't be the answer to every skin woe but it is great to have in the fridge for those just in case emergencies or as a weekly treat for all skin types, in the bath with a good book and a glass of wine. Bliss!
Lush BB Seaweed Fresh Face Mask has been created to calm, soothe and soften the skin which could come in handy with a lot of us currently sun seeking? I do want to quickly state that although this mask mentions Seaweed in the title it does not have a wet seaweed stench. If you have grew up on the British coast line you will know exactly the scent I mean! Rather it has a pleasant floral - almost rose fragrance. A quick run down of the ingredients which includes: fresh seaweed (to revitalise and repair - it is also from the Poole harbour), ground almonds (to exfoliate), rose absolute and aloe vera (to soothe, calm and soften the skin). As well as Rosemary oil for its regenerative properties, kaolin to remove any excess dirt or oil without being harsh, and lastly along with the aforementioned this mask contains millet flakes to gently exfoliate away dead skin as you remove it.
In terms of texture Lush BB Seaweed Fresh Face Mask reminds me a lot of oatmeal, it has a light but creamy yet rough texture. On the skin it feels cooling (aloe vera most likely to credit for this) and instantly soothes irritated skin. It is quite wet on initial application but quickly dries out - a word of warning this can get a little messy, the seaweed has a tendency to get everywhere! In my experiences this leaves the skin feeling nothing sort of wonderful - it doesn't dry out my oily skin but does leave it feeling balanced. My skin forever has a glow once removed and is left feeling beyond soft and dare I say it polished. Despite being some what of a scrub come face mask this is so, so gentle - my skin is prone to acting up and I have tonnes of random allergies and yet I can gently massage this off to encourage exfoliation and my skin does not react. Rather it works wonderfully - I get the benefits of all the skin oils with an added deep cleanse come scrub. No it won't add moisture but it does calm, soothe and brighten the skin.
Lush BB Seaweed Fresh Face Mask is one of the few masks I'd recommend for all skin types, particularly problem and sensitive complexions. At £6.25 it is a complete snip and easily one of my favourite Lush face! You can find it here - link but I always recommend popping in store that way you can ask for advice and for a feel of the face masks before purchasing.
I love LUSH face masks. This seems like a nice soothing one perfect for my sensitive skin :)

I've yet to try a LUSH face mask because I wouldn't even know where to begin. This one sounds amazing and I like that you recommend it for all skin types because mine goes from dry to normal to oily in a week.

My favourite mask from LUSH is the chocolate one, I believe it's called Cupcake. It's the only one that really suits my skin and makes a difference!
