Admit it, we are a frivolous bunch.
The vast majority of us will pop into a department store most likely on a lunch break or on a Saturday afternoon and purchase a product on a whim. I'm entirely guilty of this so no judgement at all from me.
I have bought many a skin cream purely because it feels "beautiful" (my favourite term at the moment) on the back of my hand. Crazy really when it is going on my face!
Enter Kiehl's Free Skin Edit, simply pop into your local store, speak to a member of staff and discuss your needs and wants and they will sort you out with a sampler kit to take home. This way you will get a better feel of each product that you like the sound off without coughing up the cash. Should something not work out for you for whatever reason no harm, no foul and hey one less unused and unloved jar on the bathroom shelf has got to be a good thing?
I don't believe that I have mentioned the new Kiehl's Glasgow store (it occupies the old Lush Buchanan Street space)? It only opened last month and it is utterly beautiful - it has a cool, laid back New York vibe which makes it all the more enjoyable. It is large, well laid out and has great, friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand to help. Yep I've been in a good few times as you can tell. Next time you pass your local Kiehl's store pop in and get your freebies and see how you get on!
woaaah what a good offer! need to find a local Kiehl's

That's an amazing deal, I really need to pop into a Khiel's counter. I've been wanting to pick up their eye cream for awhile now.

I normally love kiehls stuff however last weekend I had an absolute disaster. I tried their Blue Herbal spot treatment. I washed and dried my face then applied this. Instant PAIN!!! I applied it to three spots I had on my chin. The skin surrounding these went instantly white, like pure white. It burned like mad so I ran to the bathroom and sat with my face under the tap for a good 20-30 mins. This was just before I went to bed. The next morning I was left with an awful red burnt area on my chin. It was so sore and painful. After applying lots of hydrocortisone ointment it's getting back to normal after 4 days.
ReplyDeleteI bought the product in the UK but I live in Spain where we don't have any kiehls counters. Tried to find a way to contact them online but no luck. Just don't want anyone else to have the same problem I had!!
