If You Can't Treat Yourself...

Boots Haul

Who will? I jest, I'm a little too good to myself at times. Okay all of the time.
Yesterday I popped into my local Boots store to purchase some sun screen for an upcoming holiday and walked away with make-up treats instead. I won't lie I am a little annoyed with myself but hey any excuse to go shopping...again. I was fairly restrained but do really need to nip back in sometime soon and stock up on Hawaiian Tropic. So on to what I walked away with...

L'Oreal Color Riche L'Ombre Pure Eyeshadow in Escape in Bordeaux
Most will know by now that I am utterly obsessed with the new-ish L'Oreal eyeshadow line, each shade is gel infused so that they stay put even on the oiliest of lids. The shade choices are utterly beautiful, beyond pigmented and come in a whole array of choices. I tend to loiter around the neutral spectrum of eyeshadows but decied to throw caution to the wind and purchased a beautiful, slightly red based plum. It reminds me a little of MAC Sketch eyeshadow only with a much superior formulation. I plan on wearing this out tonight so I shall report back on how it wears etc in a later post. You can find it here for £5.49 via Boots - link.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Intense Care
This is the only UK Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm that I have not tried as of to date. I will level curiosity got the better of me and the fact it has an SPF also reeled me in. I don't exactly rate the rest of the line so I'm not exactly expecting great things. Time will tell. You can find it here - link.

Maybelline Big Eyes by Eye Studio in Luminous Eyes
I adore warm eyeshadows, they help to enhance my blue eyes and the allure of a quad featuring "very me" tones for a mere £6.99 was too good to pass up on. I have only quickly swiped the eyeshadows and so far so good, the shadows are soft but not crumbly and offer decent pigmentation. I will of course wear test this before posting a review but I think we could be on to a winner. You can find it here - link.

Maybelline Super Stay Gel Nail Colour in Uptown Blue
If you like super shiny nails that wear for a good few days chip free then you do need to invest in a few Maybelline Super Stay Gel Nail Colours. I loathe painting my nails but do find that the effort is worth it when it comes to this formulation. Quick drying, glossy and in a range of beautiful shades. I settled on the shade Uptown Blue which is a mid-toned, almost bright blue. I own nothing else at all like it which is pretty rare in my case. You can find it here - link.

And that is all. Now to get my butt in gear and actually purchase sun care. Whoops!
