Chanel Nail Polishes / Tom Ford Lip Colour Sable Smoke / Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil / Jo Malone London 154 Cologne 100ml/ Wild Mint Candle | The White Company / Baume De Rose Nutri-Couleur | by Terry / Shadow & Light Bronze/contour Perfector | Becca
As mentioned last month, I plan on composing a monthly wish list hey we can all dream of owning all the pretty things can't we? I am trying so hard not to be frivolous of late as I want to take as much money as possible to the States later this year but to know me is to know I am not a saver. Anyway here is what I have my eye on as of late...
I have a love/hate relationship with Chanel Nail Lacquers, I adore the shade selection. There is not a Chanel polish that I have seen in which I haven't thought my what a beautiful shade, having said that they can more often than not be duped and most annoyingly the formula is prone to chipping. The three shades that currently have my attention are: Particuliere, Vamp (which at one point replaced Chanel Rouge Noir, or so I am told) and Secret which looks to be the perfect milky nude. As you can probably tell I am clearly ready for the Autumn.
Tom Ford Beauty in my opinion is the height of luxury and a brand I do like to splurge on every now and then. At the moment I am coveting the beautiful, cool toned nude lipstick that is Tom Ford's Sable Smoke Lipstick. It will most likely make my teeth appear yellow and yet I still want it fairly badly.
Not really a want, more of a get your act to together reminder to myself to purchase a new bottle of Clarins Blue Orchid Facial Oil. I swear by this stuff for dehydrated skin and go through it like water come the Autumn/Winter months.
Who doesn't love Jo Malone fragrances? Classy, timeless and oh so beautiful. While in the House of Fraser over the weekend I finally tested out the lesser spoken about 54 cologne and what can I say I am hooked. It combines all the well known notes that embodies the Jo Malone brand, it smells familiar yet oh so different. If you like a less than typical approach to fragrance this is one to seek out.
You can lead me by my nose, I dream in fragrance as you can most likely tell. Along with the divine Bella Freud candles topping my wish list is the dreamy Wild Mint Candle from The White Company. Mint is easily one of my favourite scents but this blend is special, it is fresh yet herbal and smells very similar to fresh mint that you would find in a herb garden. Have I mentioned that a herb garden is on my to do list. Yeah no seconding guessing with me is there.
By Terry Baume De Rose Nutri-Couleur in Rosy Babe is the one product I am trying to talk myself out of. Don't get me wrong I adore tinted lip balms for the ease of use and of course moisture but £35 for a lip balm is a little steep. I own the original and honestly I never use it, it's good but not great.
The new Becca Shadow & Light Contour and Highlighting Powder has caught my attention as I am a sucker for a good contouring product. I took to Google and had a good glance at the swatches and so far I have found both shades too warm to make a realistic contour? I think I'm going to have to nip into my local Space.NK and see this in person as I am really undecided which is so unlike me!

Need them Chanel nail polishes & Jo Malone! (: & it would be lovely to own just a Tom Ford lipstick, really. Just because. (:
ReplyDeleteMint candle is lush!!! I just love its freshness and high quality :-D
ReplyDeleteI have some TF lipsticks from different ranges and I totally love their shades!!
Chanel nail varnishes are great (well most of them) but I prefer the TF ones. I know that their price differs but their longevity is just amazing on my nails.
I have By Terry lip balms, including the original version and one with gold. Coloured ones are nice too. I am actually having one on (check out my instagram @syrena85)
Becca is one of my favourite brands and I think their products are fantastic!! I use them a lot :-D
Have a great day!!
Great products. I always anticipate for great upcoming releases for the new season. I am a big fan/hoarder of Chanel nail polishes although I do think that their formulations are a bit of a hit or miss sometimes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Hope you have a lovely day ♥

My Ma has picked up Chanel Secret for me today and I'm dying in anticipation for her to get home. And did I hear you name drop Rouge Noir? Best anti-colour polish, EVER. - Obviously, I'm way too excited about Chanel nail polishes. Haha

The By Terry lip balm does look amazing, but that is far too much for a lip balm!
ReplyDeleteThe Clarins facial oil is just dreamy!
ReplyDeleteBeauty for the Beauty
I keep meaning to pick up the Clarins Facial Oil too! Definitely need to grab it before Autumn really sets in.
