Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum

I have been urging myself to put off writing this post for at least another week as I only received my bottle of Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum via Chemist Direct yesterday and yet I am utterly smitten. Why type up a post so quickly? Well in the last two days I have worn it all I have received is compliments and questions about what I am wearing in terms of scent and let me tell you that doesn't happen to often. Oh and the best part? It is only £29.99 for 60ml. Bargain!

As with all Jimmy Choo parfums - Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum comes in the most beautiful bottle, a black smoky crystal like bottle that will look great on any dresser should you chose to display it. Although I have the 60ml bottle it doesn't feel all that large nor is it weighty meaning I would lug this around daily for a quick freshen up. The bottle is not what you came to read about...

Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum is a light and dare I say it dreamy floral scent. I tend to wear and gravitate towards strong evening fragrances or something bold and fruity and yet I utterly adore this. It is easily the most feminine parfum I own in my now vast collection and oddly it unlike anything else I own too. It is described as a modern floral with notes of Tiger orchid, sweet toffee caramel and Indonesian patchouli. In my opinion it has a light vanilla note which I'm guessing is due to the toffee addition, it is sugary, light but not sickly sweet and at the same time it can come across fruity. It is so tricky to round up as it is a rather complex fragrance but if you like patchouli and want something a little different that is subtle yet long wearing this should top your to buy list!
