Beauty Bargains to Pop In Your Shopping Trolley

Let's face it the weekly food shop is pretty dull unless you happen to pop in a few treats every now and then.
Most annoyingly my local supermarket doesn't stock make-up (unless you count the odd Barbie lip balm or two) so I make a bee line for the bath and body products. Here is a selection of goodies I think you should check out next time you are forced to play Supermarket sweep!

Through my own admissions I am both addicted to self tanner and pretty damn lazy which more often than not results in dry skin. If like myself you'd rather have a good ol' sing song in the shower than faff about with numerous products Garnier Oil Beauty is the range for you. I'm not sure just how expansive the line up is but I personally swear by Garnier Oil Beauty Oil Infused Scrub and Garnier Oil Infused Nourishing Body Lotion. As the name would suggest both products contain beautifying oils (Argan, Macadamia, Almond and Rose) to soften the skin in next to no time. Both are aimed at dry skin and although I'm not the hugest fan of the scent I do find that my skin is much more supple than when I use any other body scrub or lotion combo. Certainly a duo to pack in your case if you are jetting off into the sun any time soon!

To know me is to know that I tend to only use duo-phase eye make-up removers (I yack on about Garnier 2-in-1 Express Eye Make-Up Remover all the time - sorry!) and a new and highly rated addition to my bathroom cabinet is - Nivea Daily Essentials Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover. Soft, gentle, effect and shockingly cheap at only £2.99 has quickly made this my go to eye make-up remover. It removes every little scrap of eye make-up even the thickest of waterproof mascara's quickly dissolve. Yes it is a little greasy but then again what oil based eye make-up remover isn't? I like that I can soak two cotton pads with this liquid, place on my lids, gently swipe and job done. I don't always recommend products for sensitive eyes as I'd hate to steer someone wrong but I would be highly shocked if this irritated anyone's eyes.

Speaking of irritated eyes due to hayfever I can often go outside armed with antihistamines and boom my eyes begin to stream. Now that is okay if I am going nowhere fancy but on a packed train it does lead to many a concerned bystander asking why I am crying. Recently I have taken to carting around a little pack of Simple Kind To Eyes Eye Make-Up Remover Pads to quickly swipe away any running mascara and what not. No it is not glamorous but needs must. Honestly I wouldn't use the Simple Kind To Eyes Eye Make-Up Remover Pads to remove my eye make-up at the end of the day as I don't find they are quite wet or effective enough to budge lashings of mascara. They do however make light work of removing the odd mascara or eyeshadow smear!

Now you know why my food shop bill is so high...whoops!
