Before the weekend officially begins let me share a few snippets of beauty news...
This coming June Jo Malone London will launch a new fragrance - Jo Malone Tuberose Angelica Cologne Intense. Created by perfumer Marie Salamagne, the scent comprises top notes of angelica and heart notes of tuberose, while amberwood is at the base. In addition, a limited edition fragrance bottle will launch too, inspired by the delicate fretwork of Jali screens, which will launch exclusively at Harrods. Prices start at £100 so it isn't cheap but I'm willing to bet it does smell amazing!
Today Clinique launched a lipstick that has taken three years to develop Clinique - Long Last Lipsticks Soft Matte. "Three years in the making, the collection features eight matte shades including Magenta, Crimson, Mandarin, Beauty, Peony, Suede, Petal and Plum. This matte yet moist, comfortable, non-drying and stain-free formula contains Porous Silica beads and Porous Silica to set the colour, while the lipstick pigments are ground in Cetyl Octanoate, an ingredient that develops colour to its true intensity. Long-lasting moisturisation comes from a beeswax derivative, while a special polymer, originally developed for surgical use, helps protect lips from moisture loss." You can purchase them now via Clinique for £18 each here or wait until they hit the counters on June the 6th. Look out for my review tomorrow.
A new launch from Soap and Glory which is already within certain Boots stores and online "Soap & Glory have announced the launch of new bath and body collection, Orangeasm. Containing green mandarin, Sicilian lemon and sweet orange peel oil, the new range comprises: Revitalising Body Wash, featuring green tea, honeyblush and white tea antioxidants;Super Rich Body Butter, containing shea butter massage balls for a radiance-boosting glow; and Super Tonic Fragrance, mixing notes of energising elemi, green mandarin, mint, sweet orange and lemon oils, on a patchouli, petitgrains and geranium base. Another June launch comes from Alpha-H - Alpha H Instant Facial. Described as the new 'botanical peel', this resurfacing and hydrating solution which instantly absorbs into skin, works at a cellular level to help reinvigorate the complexion. Instant Facial offers the clarity and luminosity of microdermabrasion and salon-inspired peels, without the friction, downtime and fuss. It refines pore size, reduces dead cell build-up, softens wrinkles and mattifies the T-zone. Containing 93% botanical formulations including cypress berry, thyme, barley, malt and arnica flowers, the product contains no oils or fats and all ingredients are water-soluble. At £30,50 it does seem rather well priced!

The latest addition to the Silk-épil collection features a wet and dry epilator, a shaver head and accessories to epilate in sensitive areas.
