Beauty Time Savers

If like myself there is certain mornings ( a.k.a every morning)that you really would rather spend an extra ten glorious minutes in bed than preening yourself then I have a few cheat products you may wish to invest in.
Go on hit that snooze button one more time baby (yes I'm loosely referencing Britney Spears).

I know some have elaborate cleansing routines for morning, noon and night but frankly at 7am you are lucky if I can recall my own name never mind juggling various lotions and potions. My morning go to cleanser is Clarins Extra Comfort Anti Pollution Cleanser (find it here via the House of Fraser - link), it quickly removes any traces of the night before's sweat and grime while being gentle and leaving my skin feeling nourished and hydrated. It is fuss free and so much easier to remove than say an oil making it perfect for those moments when you are only just awake...just.

Forgot to moisturise and slap on some SPF? Yes both are naughty but on the odd occasion we can all be forgiven, especially if you are running short on time. For those days I really can not recommend Estee Lauder Double Wear All-Day Glow BB Cream (find it here - link). It moisturises the skin without being heavy, contains an SPF 30 and the best part is that the coverage is pretty darn wonderful. A quick buff of this over your face and you will look radiant - I honestly can not get enough. If you do happen to have a pesky blemish that needs more coverage or perhaps your under eyes are revealing that you have had one too many late nights then you may want to try out MAC Pro Longwear Concealer (find it here via Debenhams - link). This concealer is light enough for the under eye area yet offers great coverage and the kicker is that it doesn't crease and also effortlessly covers blemishes!

Other morning make-up staples for me are Laura Mercier's Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Rose Gold (find it here via Space.NK - link) - a creamy glide on texture that doesn't crease or budge and the colour works perfectly to open the eyes without looking over done. I deem MAC's Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara (find it here via Debenhams - link) to be the most fuss free formula I own, the long wand easily lifts and separate lashes in one quick coat meaning I have more time to faff around. Hey it's what I do best. I have blonde brows, if I don't in some way fill them in I look like an egg. Yes really. I swear by Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencil (find it here via Space.NK - link) which is a hybrid of wax, pencil and powder all rolled into one - I quickly fill in my brows and blend out using the spoolie and ta-dah natural looking brows.

Lastly I recommend Bumble and Bumble's BB Pret-a-Powder (find it here - link) which is both a dry shampoo and texturising powder in one. I quickly brush my hair and sprinkle this throughout the roots, rustle the crown of my hair and pretend that the bed head looks was what I was going for, not what was thrust upon me due to being lazy. I always keep a lip butter in my bag to glide on while running for the bus, train or whatever I'm late for - the glossy texture coupled with a hint of colour works well with a fuss free make-up look. At the moment I'm really enjoying Rodial's Glamstick in Bang but there is plenty of cheaper dupes such as Revlon's Lip Butters.

You may have noticed I have yet to stumble across a fuss free blush for lazy mornings, I'm open to all suggestions.
