Barry M Brow Kit

Brows are big news aren't they?
Brow kits, pencils, powders and all that is in-between are everywhere and the latest brand to hop aboard the bandwagon is Barry M with their dinky little brow kit offering.

I want to begin this review by stating that I knew from the get go this kit would not be for me as the shades within it are simply too dark for my fair brows. If you have dark brows this could be a great in-expensive kit for you as it contains all you need not only to fill your brows but define and pluck them too!

Barry M Brow Kit contains a double ended angled brush, tiny tweezers (not the best they are too stumpy to really use for anything other than one or two stray hairs), a tinted wax, a deep brown brown powder and a highlighting powder which of course can be used anywhere on the face. If like myself you do have fair toned brows you may not want to completely write off the palette as the wax pan is fairly universal - a light ashen toned brown that is not too deep for blondes and light brunettes too. The powder on the other hand is a dark cool toned brown that should suit all those with dark brows perhaps even those with nearly black hair? The brow powder is fairly soft but not overly prone to fall out and does blend well to provide a natural result. The highlighter is subtle and not overly shimmery but the bright cream toned shade will help to open the eyes and draw attention to your perfectly framed brows.

For £5.99 the Barry M Brow Kit won't break the bank and tools aside (yes tweezers I'm looking at you) it is a good little travel sized palette. However I don't understand why it only comes in one shade - I would like to see one for fair toned brows, medium brows and hopefully something for those with beautiful red locks! I guess that could all be in the pipeline for the future?
