Why can't all nail polishes be equal?
Today I have a beautiful candy pink hue from Zoya in which I love the colour but hate the formula, isn't that always the case?
Let me introduce you to Zoya Shelby aka the thorn in my paw.
A bright somewhat Barbie come Pepto Bismol pink that demands attention without being glaringly obvious in the way a neon pink would. It brightens up my nails and allows me to day dream of a glorious Spring day. Wonderful.
Well it would be if the formulation was better, you see it applies for lack of a better world gloppy.
Now rest assure this is a new bottle not a neglected purchase from yesteryear that should in theory apply like my other Zoya Creme finish polishes - two quick drying coats and tah-dah glossy beautifully painted nails. Zoya Shelby is a law onto its self - a thick, somewhat tacky formula that takes forever to dry and once dry regardless of how many coats you apply it dries streak or worse lumpy. Lovely.
I do like Zoya polishes generally speaking but sadly Zoya Shelby falls a little short of the mark.
I typically purchase any Zoya polishes from eBay and Amazon and go for the cheapest seller.
Aw thats such a shame! Nothing worse than a gloopy polish!! x
