Weekly Favourites

Here's what I have been enjoying using for the last seven days...

I have rediscovered Elemis Cleansing Balm (find it here -link) and have to admit that the little switch from my usual Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm (find it here - link) seems to have done my skin the world of good. It looks brighter, clearer and generally just better. A change is as good as a holiday eh? While we are on the topic of skin care I want to mention Healgel Eye Cream - this is so light, silken and more of a serum than a gel and yet it truly nourishes the eye area. If you have sensitive eyes this is one to check out. The only toner I have ever repurchased is Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner (find it here - link) which I'm now on my third bottle soon to be forth. This gentle exfoliates my skin leaving it brighter and smoother to an extent and seems to do a great job of calming my milia.

I couldn't type up a favourites post without mentioning NARS Narsissist Eyeshadow Palette which i sadly can not find in-stock online anywhere but you may have better luck at a counter? Basically this handy palette has all the neutrals I'll need and more. I've fallen into a dangerous trap of becoming rather found of Make Up Forever's Smoky Lash Mascara which truly does give huge, fluttery lashes without weighing down my flimsy eyelashes or smudging/flaking. Annoyingly this brand is difficult to come by in the UK and when you do stumble across it is is expensive. I will be stocking up by the barrel load when I visits the States later on this year that is for sure. My lipstick of choice lately has been YSL's Rouge Volupte Lipstick in 32 Jealous Coral (which you can find here -link) - the perfect pinky coral shade that glides on to the lips and stays put for a good few hours. I can't wait to bust out a few more brighter shades now we are nearly into Spring.

The only scent I have been wearing this week is Jo Malone's new Rain and Angelica Cologne which is one forth of the new London Rain collection due to launch this coming March. If you like really light, clean and slightly floral fragrances you must try this out. I do warn you though Jo Malone Colognes are so addictive - I'm currently coveting the Earl Grey and Cucumber scent more than you can imagine!

What have you been enjoying this week?
