Beauty Favourites January 2014

Gosh hasn't January passed by rather quickly?
It doesn't seem like a month has passed since Christmas that is for sure!
Anyway here are my favourite beauty products for the month that was January.

MAC Haute and Naughty Lash Mascara has been my go to mascara for around a month now.
A two-in-one mascara that lets you choose if you want lashes to be naturally defined which is my chosen method as it lengthens and separates in one quick sweep without ever looking heavy or false. You also have the option to thicken the brush head to pile on the volume. A great everyday mascara that never flakes, smudges or irritates my sensitive eyes. Find it here via Debenhams - link.

My other eye make up recommendations are MAC's Paint Pot in Stormy Pink (find it here - link) and NARS Narsissist Eyeshadow Palette. The former being a cool toned grey lilac cream eyeshadow that compliments the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette like no other as well as being a stellar stand alone shade. NARS Narsissist palette needs no introduction as it has been all the beauty world can think, dream and speak of for the last fortnight or so. It goes on general sale today and I have to hold my hands up and say that it is a great all round neutral offering as well as being wonderful for owning a large proportion of NARS' permanent eyeshadows in one place.

Lanolips Banana Balm has not left my side all month long not only is this balm formulated to feature only natural ingredients namely Lanolin and Banana extract to nourish the lips like no other.
As soon as I apply this my lips are soft and subtle with a pretty sheen and of course the yummy sweet banana fragrance. I've been a fan of Lanolips products for a while but this is by far my favourite and an instant repurchase for me which doesn't happen all that often. Find it here - link.

The last two products I want to mention have been featured rather heavily on this blog recently and for good reason. Nails Inc Baker Street (find it via Boots here - link) has quickly become my go to polish - a bright cobalt blue that is super glossy as well as attention grabbing. It looks great on my nails be they long or short as well as suiting my skin tone be it tanned or not. A staple shade for me and one I urge everyone to check out. Lastly Jimmy Choo Flash London Club EDP (find it here - link) which has been my most worn scent this month.  A white sparkling floral that is some instances does remind me of Paco Rabanne Ultra Violet yet  not identical. Jimmy Choo Flash London Club is a floral, fruity yet musk based perfume that takes inspiration from a bouquet of white flowers. To try it is to understand why this fragrance is so magical.

What have you been enjoying this month?
