Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencil in Blonde

I apologise that I am very much having a brow moment - I seem to be purchasing and testing more brow products than ever but having really fair eyebrows can be troublesome to colour match. If you have struggled finding a light yet ashen shade for your fair brows I may have found the answer...

No the Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencils aren't cheap at £26 each (ouch) but they are worth it in my humble opinion especially if you prefer a pencil approach when it comes to your brows. A quick note on the packaging which truly does look and feel luxe - a weighted (it makes it easier to handle) mental mechanical pencil that comes complete with an in-built spoolie to take the work out of defining your brows.

So what sets the Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencils aside from any other brow pencil out there (lets be honest they are two a penny)? Well the fact that it is pretty much a hybrid product - a powder come pencil come wax product all in one is nothing short of a marvel. You have the strong yet easy to blend out pigmentation that you would associate with a brow powder yet the precision of a pencil. It's here that I feel I should mention that the Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencil has a fairly unique nib - it is somewhat chiselled with one end being thicker than the other. I tend to use the thicker end to fill in my brows and the slimmer edge to draw and mimic brow hairs in sparse areas. But back to the texture - it is firm in a waxy sense that not only ensures that the product is going nowhere fast but makes it difficult to go overboard when it comes to application. Although waxy it is not overly firm so application (particularly when paired with the added spoolie) is tiresome.

Now on to the shade of Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencil which in my opinion is the biggest seller - a super light yet ashen brown come taupe hue that is neither too cool in tone nor too warm. Once applied to my wishy washy brows it is undetectable, the end result being a natural groomed look which is all I ever desired. Fellow blonde brow'd friends I say save those Space.NK incentive points and invest in this baby, even if you aren't blonde this is a great eye brow pencil formulation that comes in a few shades and is well worth testing.
