Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Lightweight Mousses

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to host alongside Liz Taw (Aussie Haircare Ambassador) and a few other wonderful beauty bloggers a hair chat come party in which we all chatted about hair (obviously) and shared lots of tips and tricks. I don't know about you but I walked away feeling so much more educated about hair care. Today I have a wonderful Q&A with Liz Taw and my thoughts on Aussie's newest haircare launch - the new Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Lightweight Mousses...

Q& with Liz Taw

Job title?
Aussie Haircare Ambassador Liz Taw
Worked with which celebs?
Gary Barlow, Take That, The Killers, Rita Ora, Eliza Doolittle, Jessie Ware.
Favourite hair trend for spring?
Hair this season is polished and parted (centre or deep side partings) with a naturally texture on the mid lengths to ends. Whether it's tied into a low ponytail at the nape or free flowing, a healthy looking shine is prominent for spring/summer 2014
Any new products we should all know about and why?
Yes! The brand new Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Lightweight Mousses, RRP £4.99. These are the perfect treatment for finer hair in need of deep hydration and nourishment, and where the original Aussie 3 Minute Miracle treatments may be too heavy.
A hair product you use everyday?
A great leave in conditioner is my everyday essential. Use a cream or balm for thicker hair and spray for finer hair.
How should our haircare change from Winter to Spring?
Just as we would update our skincare for the changing needs of our skin, so we should make sure we make the right changes and additions to our hair care regime, to suit the environmental changes and styling needs.
Favourite haircare bargain?
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor (can I get an amen, I too love and swear by this deep conditioner).
A celebrity that always gets their hair right?
Michelle Williams is my most resent hair hero.

As mentioned Aussie's newest launch is the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Lightweight Mousses which initially I thought to be a hair styling product but as a matter of a fact it is a deeply conditioning range of wash out mousses - think the original 3 Minute Miracle but in mousse form. Cool huh?

Much like a typical conditioner you apply Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Lightweight Mousse after shampooing and as the name suggests leave it for three minutes before rinsing out. What I like about the Mousse formula is that it is easier to spread and work through the hair than a thicker conditioner and also a little goes a long way. The texture is so much lighter than to what I am used to but it does nourish the hair without weighing it down, making the range perfect for those with finer hair. What sets this mousse aside from other conditioners (texture aside) is that along with hydrating the hair it also removes product build up in one easy step.

At £4.99 a bottle and with a few variations to suit different hair types you should make this your next hair care purchase.
