In my experience Nail Art Polishes and Pens for that matter are one of the more pricer nail fads out there but recently launched is the NYC Show Time Nail Art Polishes which cost a mere £1.99 each and come in three colour options. Okay the shade variety is hardly expansive but given the price I think it is a good starting point for all wannabe and established nail artists?
The polishes come presented within small, slim bottles and feature a finer than fine brush that allows both precision and control not to mention fine detail. The brush is so fine I liken it to a needle point - teeny tiny but sharp. As most will know and be able to see from my swatch nails I am less than talented when it comes to nail art and even I found the brushes a breeze to use...I'm still never going to be featured in the likes of Scratch Magazine ha!
The three shades are Black Ink - a glossy true black and a great staple shade, Silverism - a metallic light silver and lastly Pinkasso - a mid toned frosty pink hue that truthfully I am not a fan of. Like I said this is a great starting point and the polishes are of great quality - they apply well, dry quickly and have a great brush. I would like the shade range to expand to a few more colours in time however they get a huge thumbs up from me.
NYC Show Time Nail Art Polishes* £1.99/4ml each and available from selected Superdrug's

I've been wanting to try out some nail art and these seem like the best way to start - might pick up the black one next time I'm in Superdrug.

ReplyDeleteOh I'm liking the look of these! I'm really struggling with finding good nail art pens and the one decent one I did have broke last night when I was trying to do a design :(
