I know what you are thinking oh no not another beauty box!
Nope Love Me Beauty is simply Beauteco Box but with a new name but with the exactly the same ethos as before...phew! Let's take a peek at what is inside one of the three boxes available for the month of September shall we?
Matriskin Collegen Serum (sample size 7.5ml)
A silken serum that aims to cure and prevent the various signs of ageing such as the appearance of fine lines and over time more intense lines. I of course have not tested this for 30 days but I can vouch that this is light and not overly hydrating - I highly doubt that this will act like a vanishing cream but I am hopeful it reduces the crinkle on my nose over time. Here's hoping!
Murad Osmolyte Tonic (sample size 15ml)
A beautifully refreshing mist that both replenishes and moisturises the skin which in turn plumps and firms. This spray contains duel-phase moisture, infusing the skin with essential nutrients to repair the skin barrier all the while soothing. Easily one of my favourite moisture boosting facial mists - great for a quick pick me up but no this will not set make-up!
Nip and Fab Clean Gel Fix (full size)
I won't lie - I have not tried this, I am fairly strict with my skin these days and won't use any foaming products on it. I did however pass this on to my brother who isn't as fussy and he says that he rather likes this cleanser particularly after the gym as it is leaves his skin feeling tingly fresh (I'm not totally sure what he means by that either). Nip and Fab claim that their Clean Gel Fix will rejuvenate the skin all the while plumping out lines and preventing the formation of blackheads. They also state that it is a multi-purpose cleanser that will gently remove both dirt and all traces of make-up.
Anatomicals Day and Night Spot Stick (full size)
This is a duo ended spot buster, with one end designed for day use and the other for at night - mild but said to be effective in both the reduction of blemishes and sebum control.
Trust my skin to behave - I don't have a blemish to try this out on but knowing my skin it won't be long until one rears its head and when it does expect a follow up review.
Essential Care Herb Shampoo (sample size 30ml)
A gentle herbal based shampoo that is mild enough to use on babies - claims to be both conditioning and balancing and can help soothe an irritated scalp. I did try this last night and wasn't bowled over, first of all I really dislike the herbal scent and I didn't find it to be all that wonderful at lathering up. In the end I rinsed this out and shampooed again with my regular shampoo. Gentle yes but not at all for me.

Love the contents of this box. Seems like you get good value for money compared to the likes of Glossybox where a lot of the time I end up with teeny tiny samples (don't get me started on the perfume samples!) Raspberrykiss xo
ReplyDeleteOoh I'm intrigued by the anatomicals spot stick! God knows I'm in need of a good spot fixer haha. You'll have to let us know how you get on with it! x

The gentle herb shampoo sounds great even if you was wowed, its always hard to find a decent shampoo that doesn't aggravate my scalp so I'll try anything!

Mascara & Maltesers
I've been sat staring at their Boutique for about 10 minutes now wondering whether to go for Box 2 or Box 3 ..I don't think I'll care much for the shampoo in this box, so Box 2 it is for me! :) xxx
ReplyDeleteThere are so many different Beauty Boes, Which ones are better?
