The Next Stage of the Urban Decay Naked Dynasty!

Just when you thought that there couldn't possibly be another string in Urban Decay's Naked bow along trots Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder which is a baked illuminating powder for both the face and body - a powder highlighter by any other name.

"Get Naked from head to toe. This soft, glowing powder from Urban Decay contains a sophisticated, microfine shimmer. Dust it on anywhere you want to create an instant glow. This smooth, silky formula contains light-reflecting particles that create a luminous, radiant look. Now you can get that Naked glow any time, anywhere. (And yes, this is ONE instance where it's OK to fake it.) This lightweight, shimmering powder is baked on a terracotta disc for 24 hours and then hand-finished, just like Urban Decay's popular Baked Bronzer. Baking the formula gives Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder a high level of shimmer (without the metallic look of cheaper formulas). It also provides the color pay off of a loose powder, with the convenience of a pressed powder. The perfect way to get (or give) Naked, this shimmering powder comes in a gorgeous rose-gold box and makes the perfect gift for any Naked fan. Includes a generous mirror and a brush (housed in a separate compartment underneath the powder)."

At the moment I have no idea when this will launch within the UK but I imagine the wait won't be long but admit how many of you are secretly hoping for another Naked palette? Urban Decay Naked 3 has a nice ring to it! For swatches of the new illuminating powder simply Google Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder and a good few reviews etc will show up.

  2. It looks very similar to the MAC mineralized skin finishes, but dare I say prettier! Excited to try this one out.

  12. This strikes me as a bit 'been there done that' as so many other brands already do baked highlighters. Laura Geller is famous for her 'baked on a terracotta pan' baked products and her body bronzers are absolutely gorgeous and much bigger than this one.
