Today or should that be tonight is the first official day of Autumn so go forth and wear those new mittens with pride my friends...I know I am despite it being a moderately pleasant day here in Glasgow.
A new season often means a make-up shake up (I'm a poet and I didn't know it) for most but as I wear warm neutrals 99% of the time anyway Autumnal make-up resides with me all year long.
None the less a good few items have sneaked on to my radar...
1, I'm still very much going through a fragrance phase and pretty much wear a different scent each day. I know it is only a matter of time before my clothes are soaked once again in the deep notes of Thierry Mugler Alien but until then I am thoroughly enjoying my fragrant journey. Topping my wish list is Escentric Molecule - Escentric 03 which is described as being both grassy and sexy? A weird combination but count me in.

2, As most will know I am a HUGE MAC fan and can not wait for the launch of RiRi Hearts MAC Fall/Autumn next month. It will be all I can do not to purchase it all...okay one of everything. The lipsticks and the eyeshadow palettes are topping my want list. Keep an eye out for it reaching the UK early October and this is the first Rihanna and MAC collection that will be available both online and in-store.
3, Oh Tom Ford why do you tease me with such beautiful products? I have decided to write a letter to Santa Claus this year asking for lots of Tom Ford goodies...a girl can dream! The current objection of my affections is the Tom Ford She Wolf Palette which contains three beautiful cool almost taupe hued neutrals that scream buy me, buy me now.

4, Speaking of eyeshadow palettes I truly do think that the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lavish Palette is the king of eye palettes this Autumn. Not only does it contain 10 warm and truly gorgeous eyeshadow shades but all the products needed to sculpt your brows. This will sell out quick and is currently on pre-order over on Cult Beauty - link
5, I know, I know I have more candles than sense which in all reality wouldn't be that hard but come the cooler months there is nothing more comforting than a good book and flickering candle light. I'm not really one to favour particular brands but I'd be lying if I said that Yankee's Autumn range is not calling my name - Salted Caramel, November Rain, Vanilla Chai and Lake Sunset truly do sound delectable. Now all I need is some spare cash and a good book.

6, Last but not least I would like to treat myself to a new Chanel Illusion D'Ombre Eyeshadow in the shade Apparition which is a deep metallic navy blue perfect for a night on the town. Truthfully if I could I'd own every shade of this formula that Chanel produce as the formula is both faultless and effortless. If you have yet to try it out for yourself I urge you to do so in the near future.
