Oh I am such a candle tease aren't I?
But since sparking up Bath and Body Works Watermelon Lemonade Candle a few days ago I knew from the get go that I had to share it. Simply put it is the juiciest, fruitiest candle I have ever encountered.
A bright watermelon scent that is tinged with a hint of lemon that is so fresh and uplifting it will make you want to strip down to your swim wear and frolic in the sun...okay not quite but it is close.
If you are lucky enough to be based local to a Bath and Body Works or visiting a location with a store be sure to pick up at least one candle as they are out of this world: so well priced, great scent throw with a wide scent variety and not to mention they look great.
This no longer online but I have been assured it is still in-store and currently $10 for the large 3 wick size. For all those like myself with no access to Bath and Body Works I do highly rate Kringle Candles, you can find their Watermelon offerings here - link.
And because we can't mention Watermelon Lemonade without including a recipe..
INGREDIENTS (Makes 4 large glasses)
6 cups watermelon cubes (seeds removed)
1/4 cup raspberries
1 cup water
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
DIRECTIONS
Place watermelon, raspberries and water in container of electric blender, cover and blend until smooth. Strain through fine mesh strainer into pitcher. Stir in sugar and lemon juice until sugar dissolves. Refrigerate until chilled, add ice and a straw.
Random Fact - The first recorded watermelon harvest occurred nearly 5,000 years ago in Egypt and is depicted in Egyptian hieroglyphics on walls of their ancient buildings.

Have you tried Etsy there's lots of great sellers on there that do handmade candles that are really well priced :) or if you really want Yankee products my advice is to go for wax tarts as they are as cheap as chips and last forever too! x
