Sephora Disney Little Mermaid Compact Mirror

Being Scottish Sephora is one of those far off magical places that a make-up magpie like myself often day dreams about. Yes there is stores in Europe (Spain, France etc) but the real fun is hitting a Sephora stateside - aisles and aisles of beauty loot at bargain prices with many a brand you can not get back home. What's not to love?

This time around I was on a mission I simply had to have the Disney for Sephora Set the Mood Compact Mirror. Yes being in my mind twenties it probably is time to stop dreaming of being a princess one day but when mirrors are this beautiful I'm willing to be even non-Disney fans would stop and admire it. To my eye the compact looks like an elegant and vintage inspired pocket watch that is adorned with sea foam green and holographic detailing complete with a tiny image of Ariel and the Prince settling in for a smooch...oh la la!

Smooching aside the mirror is of great quality with two mirrored segments - one that magnifies and one that is a run of the mill mirror. One side has a  printed quote "you've got to be you" and as "inspirational" as it may be it does ring a little odd as it's not what I'd deem to be a quote from the movie, if in-fact it is a line from the feature at all. None the less my Sephora Little Mermaid mirror is one of my new favourite things and a talking point whenever I seem to uncover it from my bag.

Doesn't beautiful and exclusive products like this make you pine for a local Sephora store? If you live near or local to the Florida Mall the smaller Sephora still had a god few left when I visited last week. Anyway to tie in with the Aquatic vibe here is a few images from Sea World Orlando which in my opinion is a complete bust - $90 tickets, vile but pricey food and two hours waiting lines to see the attractions an. No thanks.

Edit - I am ashamed that I as much as set foot in Sea World, foolishly I thought the animals/mammals and sea life where well cared for, ignorance at it's best. Since watching the Blackfish documentary I am very much an advocate of empty the tanks.

Random Fact - The first ever Sea World opened in San Francisco in 1964.
