It's Not as Kinky as it Sounds...

Yankee Leather Candle

I promise but I have fallen a little head over heels for Yankee Candle's Leather scent.
It shouldn't work but it does rather than being saucy (oh la la) this scent is buttery soft much like a new leather jacket. It's rich, luxurious and smells authentic - I didn't want to like it but I do and it couldn't be more perfect for this time of the year aka the back to school rush.
For me it reminds me of new school shoes and the excitement of the school year ahead...okay the thought of new stationary and packed lunches if I'm entirely truthful.

This was part of the Yankee Man collection which I hope they bring back as I am rather curious about the Bacon and Movie Night scents. I did get to sniff the 2x4 scent and Riding Mower scents while in the states and have to say much like Yankee Leather they were rather authentic in terms of scent.

You can purchase most of the Yankee Man scents here - link with most being £14.99 for the large sizes
and don't be put off by the "man"tag some are utterly delightful.

Random Fact - According to official FBI documents, Adolf Hitler survived World War II and died in the 1960's.

  17. I adore Yankee Candle... I have my favourite (Vanilla Cupcake) though so I'm not sure I could give it up!
I also work in a real leather handbag store so I am immune to the scent so I am a little curious if I could even smell the candle haha!
