This year I have spent quite some time changing my once artificially black hair back to blonde.
For a feat of such caliber the trick is to of course let a professional do it for you (no home jobs please), be prepared for a good few trips to the salon which admittedly can be expensive and also be prepared to have to put a little more effort into your hair care routine.
If like myself you are always on the look out for a short cut then I suggest taking yourself along to your nearest Sally's and picking up It's A 10 Miracle Leave in Product .
It's A 10 has a huge cult following in the states and for the longest while it wasn't readily available within the UK but now it is somewhat more accessible I can promise that once you try this all in one hair care product everything else pales in comparison. Despite it's spray bottle appearance which indicates that what is inside is a liquid when in-fact it more akin in texture with a cream/serum. Despite being thicker than a liquid it is still lightweight and does not leave the hair sticky - however I advise going against the directions and not applying all over the hair, rather I would concentrate of the lower sections to avoid greasy roots. I find applying from the top of my ears downwards is the best approach.
Basically the best way to describe It's A 10 Miracle Leave in Product is that it is a leave in conditioner but with a difference - yep you've guessed it it has 10 different uses combined in one little bottle.
The uses are as follows:
1, Repairs damaged hair.
2, Adds shine.
3, De-tangles.
4, Controls frizz.
5, Seals and protects hair colour.
6, Prevents split ends.
7,Stops hair breakage.
8, Creates silkiness.
9, Enhances natural body.
10, Flat iron spray and thermal protector.
By now you are probably thinking that It's a 10 is most likely over reaching and can't possibly deliver all 10 properties and to some degree I agree. I don't find that it "enhances natural body" aka adds volume nor do I find that it adds a sheen but all other claims are indeed true. Once I quickly towel dry my freshly washed hair I squirt this product through the ends of my hair and comb through to snuff out frizz and to de-tangle in one quick step. I find it adds an extra barrier of moisture to my dry hair without weighing it down and prevents damage heat and otherwise. If you don't have time for countless products but want to help repair your hair this should be you go to product.
I bought It's a 10 Miracle Leave in Product from Sally's (Salon Services) £10.49/120ml - link

P.S...love your random fact!
I love this stuff! I'm a bleach-addict so it really is a saviour. I tend to spray it into my hands and rub into my ends rather than spraying it onto the hair. The spray is so thick that I find it tends to build up in one area rather than coat my whole head.

I think I need to try this, I've gone from black to light blonde over the past year and my hair is looking a little bit frazzled at the moment.

This sounds very similar to a product I swear by - Redken Radiant-10, which offers a very similar 10 benefits to the hair in a spray format. I do love it but this one is less than half the price! My Sally's is only small but I'll have a look and see if I can find this - I didn't know it was available in the UK xx
ReplyDeleteAH I love this product as well! I'm almost out, I need to re purchase!
