MAC By Request Spring 2014


The blogging world is once again going into over drive as today MAC has announced that MAC By Request will be making a return for Spring 2014 complete with several new shades to vote from!


"You voted. We listened. MCAC By Request is back for a second year! What’s old is new again, and the most beloved shades from the 90's and 2000's have returned for an encore performance. M•A•C is bringing back highly-requested retro-classic, long-lost lipsticks and eye shadows. Starting on July 8th - vote on Facebook for your favorite shades and the six (3 lipsticks and 3 shadows) with most votes will return in Spring 2014."


Basically the concept is identical to last years MAC by Request concept - you visit MAC's Facebook page and simply selected your favourite shade from each category. However unlike last year there is only two product categories - it seems that the there will not be a lip glass selection this year, or perhaps there will be and MAC are keeping some details under lock and key? Who knows but I am secretly hoping for either a blush or MSF option this time around.

So far the shades that have been announced that will be up for the vote are Hoop and Tomango for the lipsticks and Ashbury, Fiction for the eyeshadows. I actually already own Fiction so it can't have been that long ago since it was last released...hmm!
