Hi everyone. I'm Faye and I blog over at Fashion Beauty Etc about lots of things but mostly Fashion, Beauty, Design & Korean/Japanese Beauty. My love for Asian beauty products came from a love of manga and blossomed into a love of all things South East Asian.

Today I wanted to introduce you to one of my favorite brands Etude House. Some of you may have already come across this brand but a lot of you won't have. Etude House is a Korean brand that I'd describe as a budget/drugstore brand. Prices range from £1-£15 depending on the product. Nail varnishes cost around £1.30-£2.50, lipsticks £4-£7 and base products ie BB Creams and foundations retail for around the £10 mark generally.

The first thing you'll notice about this brand is the ultra cute and girly packaging. This is what drew me to the brand originally as I'm a sucker for anything pretty and pink. It is marketed to the teens-early twenties market as evidenced by the youthful playful nature of their packaging and their marketing campaigns. But I'm in my early 30s so obviously they appeal to a wide range of ages. Korean drugstore brands tend to be of much higher quality than their Western counterparts and cheaper too.

I love Etude House because their products are great quality, affordable and very very pretty. Of course if you aren't a fan of pink or feminine looking packaging then this probably isn't the product for you. The attention to detail of EH products is immense. From the packaging to the engravings in their powders and lipsticks every detail is taken care of. This brand is a great example of why I love Asian beauty products - great quality at amazingly low prices.

Tempted to try them out? I've bought from a lot of places online but kpoptown.com is by far the best for Korean make-up. Shipping costs are very low and delivery was quite quick especially since they're based in Korea. My order took about a week to arrive. Let me know in the comments what you think?
