Like most I am counting down until I jet off into the Summer sun...8 weeks and counting.
With that in mind I thought I'd share my current shopping list of products I have yet to pick up, as mentioned on Facebook (I post exclusives over there so do visit - link) I will be doing a post on my American beauty shopping list and sharing some great deals in-case you are also visiting in the coming weeks/months.

1, I need to find a decent beach bag but I also want a bag that I can use during the day as space in my suitcase is scarce so I have settled on the Zara Mini Shopper - it's well made, easy on the eye and pretty stylish if I do so myself. I can't quite decide which shade to go for, I think it is between the green and orange version, knowing me I will end up with both haha!

2, 2013 is the year in which I will finally treat myself to a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfayers, I have put it off as truth be told I'm pretty clumsy and have lost/broken more pairs of sunglasses than I care to count. However Specsdirect2u have some amazing deals on Ray-Bans (cheapest retailer within the UK for authentic Ray-Bans) that I think it is only fair that I purchase a pair. I have my eye on the Ray-Ban Tortoiseshell Polarised frames which are funky almost leopard print numbers which will go with everything.

3, I plan of packing light and that included my make-up so I think it may be a wise decision to purchase Benefit's World Famous Neutral Kit as it has all I need to create both a basic day look and to up the ante come night fall! All I need to do is take my mascara and an Urban Decay 24/7 liner with me and I'm good to go!

4, I've said it before and I'll say it again when it comes to summer lips Clinique's Chubby Sticks Intense are a girls best friend - the precision of a pencil coupled with the pigment of a lipstick and the moisture of a lip balm. If you pack one lip product into your summer make-up bag let it be a Clinique Chubby Stick Intense.
I have a good few but the shade that really catches my eye is Heftiest Hibiscus which is a bright summer ready orange coral.

5, Continuing with my theme of packing light I have decided to splurge on By Terry's Balme de Rose - the sun really parches my lips and as this light rose scented balm can be used anywhere on the skin I figure it will be the perfect dry patch savior this summer!

6, I can't be the only one who likes to purchase a scent especially for going away? My reasoning is that the fragrance will always remind me of that place and i'm a sucker for a trip down memory lane! I have been oohing and ahhing over the new Marc Jacobs Sunshine Editions for quite some while now and have decided that Marc Jacobs Daisy Sunshine Edition will be the scent that accompanies me to Florida!

7, I don't mean to be crude but sometimes having a large bust means that both swimwear and bra shopping is more of a chore rather than a pleasure. It often seems that if you are over a D cup that the swimwear becomes a little matronly and not really suited to a gal in her tweenties! I have just ordered a few items from mycurvesandme including this bandeau top and some cheap bras that are bright, colourful and basically just perfect for my summer wardrobe. If you have a larger bust I highly recommend checking the site out as the prices are wonderful.

8, Being the oily skinned creature that I am I do have to put a little more consideration into my base and setting products than most. For over a year now I have been using Urban Decay's De-Slick setting spray and really do rate it particularly in the warmer weather so I figure it only makes sense that I purchase the matching setting powder- Urban Decay De-Slick Mattifying Setting Powder. My reasoning is that the products have been created to work in harmony together so surely that can only mean one thing - hello shine free skin?
