One of my favourite things to do before going on a summer holiday is to pack.
No not clothes but make-up and toiletries, what can I say I've always been a freak I used to get excited
about going back to school after each summer as it meant new stationery.
Freak!
Well packing just became that little more fun thanks to the uber funky re-sealable bags that are from Take It or Leave It. Not only do you get a pack of 12 in three funky designs - leopard, floral and stripe but each bag as this is the quart size has the correct dimensions so that it can be used in hand luggage to stash away your bits and bobs for an on-board pamper...no just me?
I have one for my jewellery, one especially for powder make-up, one for oils and of course one for inside my carry on bag for in-flight essentials. The great thing is that believe it or not using a few of these bags takes up less space or should I say bulk than a large cosmetic case and if anything should spill it is in a wipe clean bag...win/win! For £6.50 you get 12 bags which will last you a good while as they are fully reusable, robust and for those wondering no the printed patterns don't rub off or crack after a few uses. If I was still at school I'd totally take my sandwiches in one of these bags.
Being organised just became a whole lot cooler!

Random Fact - 8 billion plastic bags were given out in 2011 in the UK.
Oh gosh - I love these. I am a sucker for things like this, which aren't 100% necessary but amazing at the same time haha! xx
ReplyDeletePretty but don't hand luggage bags have to be clear?
ReplyDeleteApparently not :)
DeleteOh my goodness, these complete unnecessary but i need to have them! So cute!

These are great and good for the planet as their re-usable. The random fact is terrible. I for one have used cloth bags for my shopping for years but if i do end up with a
ReplyDeletecarrier bag it goes straight in the recycle bin at home or is used as a pedal bin bag in the bathroom.x
Great post! The Butter London polishes are gorgeous :) ♥

These look awesome! I've used non clear bags going through airports before with no hassles so these should be fine.
ReplyDeleteThe random fact IS terrible, in Ireland they started charging 15c for plastic bags but offering paper bags for free. Hardly anyone uses plastic now and every car has a load of reusuable bags in the boot for shopping, sorted!
Great post! Just thought I'd let you know that you aren't alone, the sole reason I looked forward to school starting again in September was because of stationary - I was an absolute stationary obsessive... kind of still am (Paperchase still excites me to this day hahah)
