Sunkissed Self Tanning

I'm sure most of us are in the same boat in that we are all trying to get summer ready. For some it is finding the perfect bikini - I'm one step ahead in that department after purchasing this Freya Bikini which I purchased from Bras Galore - a great site if like myself you are more than a little blessed in the fun bag area. For others it will be nothing but work outs and healthy eating (I wish I had the motivation) and for some it will be creating a create bronze glow. If the latter sounds like you I've got you covered and on a budget too!

Sunkissed Self Tanning

Sunkissed Gradual Tanning Lotion in Light £4.99
This is one for those who have fair skin and/or those who only want a light tan. Being medium skinned normally results in light tanners of any type doing next to nothing in terms of deepening my skin tone but I have found that two layers over two consecutive days not only adds a light bronze hue to my skin but also evens out my skin tone while leaving my skin silky smooth. Unlike some gradual tanners Sunkissed Gradual Tanning Lotion in Light contains no alcohol or parabens just lots of Vitamin E and shea butter and the kicker is it smells of coconuts not stale biscuits. The light option may not be for me but I will be seeking out a deeper version as the formula is wonderful.

Sunkissed Instant Self Tanning Mousse in Medium £4.99
I have to begin this review by saying I have tried Sunkissed self tanning mousse before and it turned me bright orange so I was a little skeptical about trying this range again, luckily it does seem that the formula has been re-formulated and the finial results are a little more natural.
I'm not typically a fan of instant self tanning products in my opinion they normally have an odd orange tone rather than the olive tan we all strive to achieve. Although labelled as an instant tanner Sunkissed Instant Self Tanning Mousse in Medium is really a typical developing tanning mousse that has been tinted for ease of application. The guide colour is okay but not totally natural, the magic really happens once you rinse of the tint and expose the tan underneath. Sunkissed Instant Self Tanning Mousse in Medium is the perfect shade for most - on light skin tones this will create a deep golden tan that again looks natural and on medium skin tones this gives a light golden hue which isn't all that dissimilar to the effect St.Tropez gives my skin. Truthfully this tanner doesn't have an olive undertone and is more golden based but it does not turn my skin orange which is always a bonus. Much like the Sunkissed Gradual Tanning Lotion in Light this contains no alcohol or parabens so it is not drying on the skin like a typical self tanning mousse and once again it has the same yummy coconut scent.

Sunkissed Exfoliating Tan Remover £3.99
I have saved the best until last - say hello to your new tanning best friend Sunkissed Exfoliating Tan Remover. This little baby is your secret weapon against any streaks, patchy areas or to simply remove your self tan. Sunkissed Exfoliating Tan Remover is a gentle exfloliate for the body which contains AHA's (be sure to use sunscreen on any areas you apply this to) that removes unwanted tan - yep now you have no excuse for orange palms! Not only can you use this coconut scented product to remove any tanning mishaps but it is great for using before you tan for an even application. My only gripe is that the bottle is a little dinky at 150mls and won't last a self tanning adict very long, that aside it is a wonderful product and the one out of the three that I recommend checking out asap!

Sunkissed* is available from Morrisons, Primark, Tesco and Bank Fashion. For further information please visit www.sunkissedbronzing.co.uk
