Urban Decay Summer 2013 Create Your Palette

When it comes to eyeshadow and eyeliners there is no brand I trust more than Urban Decay - buttery soft eyeshadows that just ooze pigment and dreamily soft eyeliners that stay in place all day...what is not to love?
Recently Urban Decay have launched a whole new array of eye products and a super cute create your own palette for summer 2013.

Speaking of the newest Urban Decay build your own palette which has been adorned with a funky yet pretty graffiti style floral print, this is a must for an fickle eyeshadow fan like myself as for £8 you have an empty shell which you can create your own personal eye palette to suit your tastes. Gone are the days when you perhaps like three out of the four shades in a quad and as it is fairly dinky I can think of nothing better for traveling. I can't wait to hit Sephora in the states and pick out a good few neutrals for everyday use. Basically all of the new Urban Decay eyeshadows can now be used both as a solo product or popped out their pans and into the create your own palettes.

I was kindly gifted three of Urban Decay's newest eyeshadows to try out for myself - first up we have Easy Baked which is a brand new shade and has never been featured in any Urban Decay palette. Easy Baked is a beautiful light golden sand shade that has a light shimmer finish and pigment galore- perhaps best described as the younger, softer sister to Urban Decay's Half Baked Eyeshadow. Summed up a great light neutral shade that can double up as a highlighter with a perfectly soft yet intensely pigmented formula.

Next up we have two of the new Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadows which are a must see if you are a glitter bug! The new Urban Decay Moondust formula has been created to offer glitter fans a silky soft formula that has all the pigment and wow factor of a typical Urban Decay eyeshadow with plenty of glitter and little fall out as we all know glitter eyeshadow can be more mess than it is worth. Despite not being a huge wearer of glitter I will openly admit that the new Moondust shades are utterly divine and not at all gritty. I have Glitterrock which is best described as a deep sparkling mauve with a pink undertone. I also have Zodiac which may be the glitter eyeshadow that converts me this deep duo-chrome olive green eyeshadow is one that has to be seen to be believed. In some lights it appears to be a rich forest green with tiny flecks of yellow, blue and green micro glitter yet in others it appears to be a black eyeshadow that reflects green. Urban Decay Zodiac reminds me of a fancier version of MAC Club.
