Summer may seem like it is never going to come around but if your budget or perhaps taste doesn't run warm to Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess scent (I do urge you to try it out, it is beyond dreamy - review link) then I have the perfect alternative for you in Roger & Gallet's Fleur de Figuier.
If you enjoy sweet and fruity fragrances then you really do need to hot foot it along to your nearest M&S Beauty Hall and bask in the scrumptious notes of Roger & Gallet's Fleur de Figuier. If you are a fan of Diptyque's Figuier scent but not so much the price then this is the perfect way to save a few penny's yet still enjoy some figgy goodness (that sounded better in my head). I wouldn't say Roger & Gallet's Fleur de Figuier is a dead ringer for Diptyque's Figuier scent but it is decidedly similar and perhaps just a little sweeter and stronger.
Over the last few weeks I have been using both the Roger & Gallet's Fleur de Figuier Replenishing Body Lotion and Gentle Shower Cream to add a fruity kick to my morning shower, lock in moisture and of course layer on the scent. If like myself you are trying to avoid unnecessary nasties when it comes to cosmetic items then you will be pleased to know that the Roger & Gallet's Fleur de Figuier Shower Cream line is free from soap, parabens and sulfates yet still effectively cleanses the skin with a light foaming action.
Truthfully I am not all that vigilant when it comes to body lotion or body butters, it tends to be when the mood takes me and that is not all that often. If that sounds familiar then I do recommend trying out Roger & Gallet's Fleur de Figuier Replenishing Body Lotion as the scent is utterly irresistible and I find more of a motivation to apply. The body lotion itself is thick but easily absorbed into the skin and highly hydrating which is simply perfect for my currently dry skin...all my fault through negligence.
Roger & Gallet's Fleur de Figuier EDT I am coming for you and to think I used to believe Figs were just for Christmas puddings!
Roger & Gallet's Fleur de Figuier* Replenishing Body Lotion £12/200ml and Roger & Gallet's Fleur de Figuier* Shower Cream £9.50/200ml via M&S - link

Random Fact - The fig is the most talked about fruit in the Bible and figs were mentioned in a Babylonian hymnbook about 2000 B.C.
Sounds delicious!

These look gorgeous! I remember trying the Berkeley Square Fig & Cherry Eau de Toilette and Hand Cream, both of which had the most beautiful rich, sweet, fruity and exotic aroma. It's actually still one of my all time favorite fragrances. So I think that there's probably more to figs than we could have ever imagined!
