Escentual Micellar Blind Trial
Recently I was invited by Escentual to join another 99 beauty addicts in a challenge that should put the world of Micellar Waters to rights. Basically myself and others will be testing out seven various Micellar Water Cleansers blindly to see which comes out on top.

We have each been sent seven 20ml droplet bottles each of which have been marked with a letter ranging from A-F and have been set the task to see which we prefer over the course of 14 days with day one starting today. Not only have we to eventually choose a favourite but we have to rate each sample depending on its cleansing ability, pleasure of use, reactivity and moisture balance and fill out an online survey so Escentual can reveal the results. The great thing about this challenge is that it takes away any preconceptions of brands and allows each product to be judged on a level playing field which doesn't happen all that often.

I will of course do all of that but I thought it may be a good idea to share my thoughts on each sample in two weeks and also to try and guess which brand each sample may be. I warn you now my guessing skills are abysmal at best.

The seven micceallar waters are as follows (in no particular order I hasten to add):
- Dior Instant Cleansing Water
- Nuxe Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Petals
- Caudalie Make-Up Remover Cleanser Water
- Avene Micellar Lotion Cleanser and Make-Up Remover
- La Roche-Posay Physiological Micellar Solution
- Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micelle Solution
- Vichy Purete Thermale Calming Cleansing Micellar Solution

I am keen to get this trial kick started not really to see which brand comes out on top but to seek out the best Miceallar Water Cleanser for my skin type, which knowing my luck will be the priciest out of the seven ha!

Disclaimer - I think it goes without saying that the products featured in this trial are of course samples but I would like to point out that I was not compensated in any way for this or any following blog posts nor taking part in the challenge.

Random Fact - When a shark eats food that it can’t digest (like a tin can), it can vomit by thrusting its stomach out its mouth then pulling it back in.
