Yes really!
An eyeliner that pretty much sharpens itself by self you do have to twist the lid but other than that it is fuss and mess free. Genius huh!
Step up Avon's Always On Point Eyeliner's we salute you and your genius lid.

Newly launched by Avon is the Always On Point Eyeliner's which to the naked eye look like a typical mechanical eyeliner but hidden in the lid is a sharpener to keep your point sharp and your lines super precise. Much like a mechanical eyeliner to expose more of the product you twist up the bottom but with each use the nib becomes blunter and as a result more difficult to work with. However with Avon Always On Point Eyeliner you simply pop on the cap firmly and gently twist to shave the nib back into a point. So simple and effective that you are left wonder why more brands don't adapt the idea.

The Avon Always On Point Eyeliner's come in four shades : Black, Teal, Navy and Lavender Grey. I decided to go for the more obscure shade Lavender Grey as I'm always on the look out for shades to compliment my grey eyes. Lavender Grey is best described as mauve and reminds me of Chanel's Paradoxal Nail Polish only in eyeliner form. A cool toned blend of purple and grey that results in an unusual shade that should look striking on most.

Regular readers of this blog will know that I have a soft spot for Avon's Supershock liners and I did hope that the formula of the Always On Point Eyeliner's would be similar but sadly it is not.
Unlike the Supershock liners this formula isn't quite as creamy but it is soft, glides on the eye without pulling or tugging and is suitable for lining the lid and waterlines. I have no issues with pigementation but the lasting power just isn't there with the liner smudging but this may be due to my oily skin and fading after 3 hours on my lash line and only wearing for a little over an hour on my waterlines.

If you don't have an issue with oily skin or re-applying throughout the day I say give this a go if not stick with Avon's Supershock liners they are worth every penny and a must have if you ask me!
