Pearl Lowe for Glossybox April 2013 Review

For over a week I have been bursting at the seams to share what is inside this oh so beautiful box which has been designed by Pearl Lowe. I don't normally keep my empty Glossyboxes but I will e making exception for this box and have plans to use it to store trinkets or perhaps nail polish.
Anyway less of my D.I.Y plans and on to what you came to see...the contents!

Nip + Fab Pistachio Sundae Dry Skin Fix Body Butter 50ml/£2.95 (Full Size Product)
Firstly let me state that Nip + Fab offer various sizes of their body butters much like The Body Shop and you can indeed by the 50ml pots in Boots for change of £3.
Size aside this has to be the most gloriously scented body butter ever, it has a milky yet dessert type scent that begs to be eaten...obviously you can't but my goodness it is so tempting.
It does of course hydrate the skin rather well so much so I have purchased the larger tub...yum!

Illamasqua Medium Pencil in Paint £13 (Full Size Product)
Truthfully I would never purchase a yellow face pencil of any kind but I guess you never know when it may come in handy? Illamasqua's Medium Pencils can be used on the eyes, lips and face in general so you can get really creative with the soft and easy to use formula.

Essie Cute as a Button Nail Lacquer £7.99 (Full Size Product)
Can you believe in my huge stash of Essie shades I have somehow overlooked this bright pink coral? Me neither so I am very glad that this is the shade that Glossybox sent, it is a bright and vibrant shade that will be perfect for the Summer. Expect a review post with swatches oh so soon!

Crabtree and Evelyn Somerset Meadow Hand Cream £5 (Full Sized Product)
Again this is a full sized product but the smallest full size avaliable but at 25g it is around the size of a typical hand cream tube and is perfect for popping into a handbag. Somerset Meadow is a lovely light floral scent that is fresh and uplifting and most likely the fragrance I would purchase for myself. The formula is not to be sniffed at either - a light and silky thick lotion that instantly hydrates and soothes the skin. Winner.

So Elixir Purple EDP by Yves Rocher (Sample 5ml)
I can't quite place what this fragrance reminds me of, I want to say Ultra Violet but I know that isn't quite right. All I know is that it is familiar and really rather pleasant. I will say it is quite a deep scent that may not be for everyone.

Worth the wait wasn't it?
